Kasabi Festus Hibachi,Sushi & Ramen — Restaurant in River View Township

Husband and I just had a late lunch early dinner here. The food was fantastic, we both got a sushi roll and a bowl of ramen. Husband got the morning flower roll and seafood ramen, he notes that the ramen was very flavorful and each flavor completely complimented the others. He notes that he could have chosen a different sushi roll for his flavor preferences and that the texture was very nice, the choice of salmon in the roll was highly regarded. I got the ichiraku ramen with chicken and the crystal roll. The miso broth for the ramen was fantastic for my preferences and the noodles had a lovely texture. The chicken was perfectly crispy and for my first time having fish cakes I loved the texture. I chose to split the marinated egg with husband as I haven’t been able to master them at home but we both enjoyed it as well. The crystal roll was everything I wanted it to be and perfectly suited to my taste. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the wasabi as well as the presentation of the entire meal. We did order the ginjo sake which was delightfully floral and gentle. Kasabi Japanese Restaurant in Festus is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, clean, and welcoming. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. Weekends can be pretty busy and i see why!

The food is where Kasabi really shines. The sushi is fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor(i highly recommend the super crunch roll)—definitely some of the best in the area. The hibachi meals are cooked to perfection, with tender meats, teriyaki sauce that is sweet yet peppery and perfectly seasoned vegetables. I also highly recommend their ramen—rich broth, noodles cooked just right, and great toppings.

Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and everything tastes like it’s made with care. Whether you’re a sushi lover or just want a hearty Japanese meal, Kasabi delivers every time.

I as expecting a sit down, order type restaurant, walked in was given a menu and sat at a table. Found out that to order you had to go stand in a line up front, now at all what I expected from a restaurant. Ordered and then food just came out when ready not in order. Usually appetizers first but not here so don't plan it that way. Reading on food was just okay good imitation crab rangoon but the fried calamari was really 'cala-crapy' not fresh and over cooked. The tuna was okay with fried rice, steak and noodle okay. They should just stay with only sushi but, you have to go and get your own sauce or spices to enjoy them but the 3 rolls got were good. It's a place you might just call your order in and take it home to eat seems the place is to small and very uncomfortable table and chairs.
