Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Riverside

I come into the store 2 to 3 nights a week sometimes more. The staff is always friendly and normally the service is good but the last couple of times I’ve gone in there. The bread has been hard as a rock on the bottom to the point where it’s not enjoyable to eat at all. I just got home from stopping in there and same problem. I didn’t think to check it. I’m too tired to drive back. I’m frustrated because I really normally enjoy their sandwiches, but I don’t know if I’m gonna be going there anymore. I don’t know what’s up if it’s their management or laziness. I would assume that when they’re holding the bread to cut it, they can feel that the bottoms, hard… I think it’s time to find a new sandwich shop.

A sidenote, as I see below, there’s been problems with their soda machines… I’ve experienced that more than once as well. I think the store has a management problem and I see the owner below is telling us we all have to go to a different line to report a problem. When we just did I would think they could take note from here rather than us having to jump through hoops. It seems like the store has quite a few...

Came in today just a few minutes before 3 PM for lunch. I wanted to pay in cash but was told I can only pay with a card. I said “OK that’s fine, I’ll pay with a card.”

Cashier says yeah because we are shutting down the registers and closing the store at 3 PM. Other folks were in their dining. i.e. making money for the company. She tells me that she can still serve me though if I pay with a card. I said OK and was about to order, then I said “it’s still OK if I can eat in here real quick though right?“ She says “no because we are shutting down the lobby, we need to clean up.”

I’m not really too into eating in my car or at my desk at work, so I just said that’s fine I’ll head over to Jersey Mike’s. Not a good way to do business! As I’m writing this there are still people in they’re eating. I could’ve been half done already. Very...
