The secret here is to always order your food special order that way its fresh and hot. If you order a standard meal during lunch or dinner hours it will be fresh. but if you order a value meal during off peak times, it will be dried out and cold. Fries will be cold and stale. So always order special order and you have a better chance of getting a good meal. I order 20 double mc doubles with out pickel and take them home and stack them in the freezer. Then during the month I can take one out and drop it in the micro. The trick to making a GREAT reheated Mc Double is this. put 2 frozen Mc doubles, wrapped in the mcy d's paper they come in, and place them in the micro, set the power to 3 or 30% for 4 minutes per burger. Then chk to see if there hot, if not set the timer to .5 min at 4 or 40% and they will come out better tasting then if you bought them fresh! My kids love them this way, they say they taste better reheated like this. Plus it saves me on gas from having to take the kids to Mc Donald's. NOTE, never do this method if there is lettuce on it cuz it will just wilt and taste like sheeeee t. But this method works great for 1/4 pounder and fillet of fish without lettuce. PS: The pickel can get tough when ya nuke um, so maybe leave them off, I do and the kids don't even notice there are not any. Good luck. It's close to home, so I figured I'd give this location another chance, but after today, I'm just going to avoid it altogether. I called to inform them about the issue, but the worker basically brushed me off and stated it was an Uber Eats issue(I did report the issue on the Uber Eats app). I explained to the worker on the phone that Uber isn't the person packing the to-go bags, and this has happened more than once, but it's best not to waste time explaining/arguing with them. I mean, if they can't handle packing a bag with a few food items, a conversation about work ethics is pointless. Yes, I'm writing this review "hangrily," but can you blame me? Kianna ( hope I got it right) impressed me as I've never been impressed before at a McDonald's. I almost forget what good customer service is, in this fast-paced world.
I understand it's not an easy job dealing with the number of people going through the drive-thru during lunch hour. We all know how people can be, so I would never judge the person on the other end taking my order, even if they didn't sound happy.
Kianna had such a positive attitude it shined through immediately. I even messed up ordering for my little ones and I was amazed/surprised at how thoughtful and patient she was. This is a true science I feel is getting lost in the world of customer service.
I have honestly never felt so at ease making an order (major anxiety issues 🤪) and I feel Kianna set a great example of how we all need should be with one another.
