Respectfully n thank you to the few employees have a very nice in the meantime while I was making it a custom of buying them in the last 2 months I would buy them every Sunday menudo it wasn't the best but it was good since my family liked kept on coming mostly, but officially lost my business due to that they try to overprice me on a 20 oz I addressed it to the person over the phone because her name doesn't even matter at this point her response was not what I would expect as a usual customer they charge my husband 13 and something cents 20 oz cup of beans which I kind of find ridiculous when a week we were buy them for a different price life gets busy tell me how from 7.95 it passed to 13 n something cents just beyond the lookout and be careful with your receipts apparently those prices are not registered in their upgraded system which doesn't make sense to begin with and another thing that honestly it bothered me is a fact that when I went inside they had the audacity of being upset and still whispering about the situation in the back kitchen exactly I don't know what she addressed to the other another employee, but good for her if that's how she as an employee n person I am a very supportive of local Papa Mama shops especially when it comes Mexican food but I see when it comes costumers to inconveniences and just so that the owners and the supervisors knI did gladly return those beans and the young lady proceeded to give me the refund I left her my number until this day her supervisor did not respond to my call which I didn't feel like I was entitled to call anyways so with that will say I wish this restaurant the best of luck and I hope that this will be a consideration for...
Read moreThis restaurant may be located in a building converted from a former tenant because the seating area wraps around the kitchen on two sides. There are three tables of outside seating with umbrellas, as well. I ate an early dinner here on a Sunday -- my first visit. I chose the Taco Salad ($11.75) with carne asada, Chicken Taquitos [3] with included guacamole ($5.75), and a Mexican Coke ($3.00). Everything was really tasty. The taquitos may have been pre-made but they were freshly fried. The taco salad was served in a pre-fried shell but was heaping with refried beans, rice, crisp lettuce, pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream. There was no cheese on the salad. It was clear to me that these items were fresh and made with quality ingredients. Unfortunately, only plastic utensils are available, even when dining in. The cashier was courteous, knowledgeable, and spoke English. The booths were comfortable and in good repair. The floors and windows were clean. The restroom was also clean and well de-odorized, although there was some graffiti on one wall (which had clearly been painted many times to obliterate previous vandalism). I always read previous reviews before choosing a new (to me) restaurant. I often pay particular attention to Zero and One Star reviews to get the whole picture. I found such evaluations for this establishment especially petty and non-relevant. Overall, I found nothing wrong with this restaurant, especially at these price points. Dos Hermanos is...
Read moreI decided to stop by with my mother in law to have a late lunch. We checked out the menu and ordered two specials that came with a ground beef taco, tostada, cheese enchilada, and a shredded beef tamale. We got our drinks and chose a table, it's not a fancy 5 star restaurant it's a small quaint place the guy at the register was very polite and very cheerful he told us he would bring our food to our table when it was ready. As we sat there, a gentleman in a wheelchair came in, and the guy at the register gave him coffee and something in a bag. I believe it was something to eat. I appreciated the kind gesture. He brought our food, and I asked him if the Chile was hot he said the one he gave us was mild, and he recommended the green Chile, so he brought it out. Everything was good I will definitely be going back to try other things on their menu if your in Riverside make sure to go try them out don't let the area fool you some of the best places are...
