Tonight, the weather was horrible that's a given, and after shoveling snow all day we wanted a quick meal and head home. There was nobody else in the lot or the building so we sat in the lot, ordered food off the app, went to pull up to the drive thru and a semi with stock I think pulled in and blocked the lanes. Uggh , oh well I maneuvered around and pulled up to the speaker and was told it's going to be a while. I wait a minute and I asked why? There's nobody in the line. I said can you explain why when there's nobody in the line, and geez! did I stir up an attitude! "Because we have a $70 order in the middle of a blizzard and its just me and 2 others working...I said okay and we ordered off the app so what is the issue?" Oh my goodness that made it worse." You're being rude, it's a blizzard (no, it was a lot of snow but it wasn't a blizzard) stop yelling at me, go somewhere else I'm refusing to wait on you," just on and on! "I said excuse me? Our orders have already been paid for on the app maybe it's ours we have 3 orders," it's not yours it's not even on the screen! (I'm thinking to myself Wait a minute what? How is that?)We just ordered it in the lot. No response. I pulled around and let my son and grandson go inside for the orders and thankfully another person waited on them. As they were waiting someone else said to her did you pull someone up? She yells no, apparently another person says it was probably the people you were cussed out. What in the world kind of service is that? I've worked in customer service for years and NEVER have I spoken to a customer like that even if they were getting on my nerves. We chose this location over another. Disappointment would be an understatement. We won't be back. There's plenty more McDonald's...
Read moreUsually we have a good experience at this McDonald’s in the morning because the staff is trying a little bit better and they seem to be a little bit older and they care more. My son comes through a few times a week to get me a sandwich the same sandwich nothing changes And this morning he got it ordered the same way as usual new breakfast sauce. It had breakfast sauce on it and I have a knot to be able to drive during the day because we only have one car so I called the store. Let them know which I hardly ever do because I just don’t like to complain And the manager that answer the phone I could never hear her name. She kept talking a mile a minute I told her I had the receipt and everything and there was no way that I could come back today and she pretty much yelled at me and said you will bring the receipt and you will bring the food back when you come back and I said ma’am I already threw that in the trash it was wrong I didn’t want it. I don’t like the smell of that nasty breakfast sauce and she said I don’t care. You will bring the sandwich back if you want it replaced OK I get that a lot of people scam food I get that but I pay for my food every single time I go through that restaurant, and the one time that I call because they messed up she treated me less than a customer. And for the first time in a while, I decided to leave a review what I hate full manager to make one of her customers like a criminal trying to steal my food. Read moreThis order took 15 minutes in total. I went through drive thru & ordered Biscuit & Gravy, 1 side of Gravy, and 2 Hash Browns with 2 ketchup packets. Was told they are waiting on biscuits & to pull forward to wait & they'd bring my order out to me. Waited 10 minutes & called them on phone to ask where my order was & that I'd been waiting 10 minutes. Employee told me that when I ordered they had told me they were waiting on biscuits.....I told her that I had been waiting 10 minutes, & she said they'd bring it out when it's ready & she abruptly hung up on me.....I was going to suggest they just replace the scratch made biscuit with one of the buttermilk biscuits, but before I could say this, she hung up on me. They brought my food, but it was missing the 2 Hash Browns, so I called them again & told them that. When they brought my Hash browns out, I showed the employee that my Sausage Gravy & Biscuit had been flipped over on top of each other so that both biscuit halves were on top of each other like pancakes with hardly any gravy. I also told her that they forgot the ketchup but I wasn't waiting anymore because I had already waited 15 minutes and I wasn't happy with their service & I left. Terrible Terrible Terrible service.....they need to do better
On a side note, this isn't the first time McDonald's has pancaked the Biscuits & Gravy on my order, and the Linden Ave location isn't the only location that does this....so they should...
