Nellie Bly's Olde Tyme Ice Cream Parlour — Restaurant in Riverton

I hate to give 3 stars because the ice cream is delicious. Unfortunately, the service is less than stellar. The first time we went there we ordered ice cream in a cup and one on a cone with sprinkles. The ice cream in the cup came with sprinkles and they put the one that was supposed to be on a cone in a box. When the mistake was pointed out they tried to hand us a spoon and cone to scoop the ice cream on to the cone. When we asked them to remake the order they were clearly not happy. I am sorry but when I order $10 in ice cream I want it right .

Second attempt: same thing, we order one in a cup and the other on a cone. The cup comes out perfect. The cone.... not so much. AGAIN it comes out in a cup. This was even after we picked out the cone we wanted. And AGAIN they weren't happy about having to remake it.

With such yummy ice cream on the menu... i certainly hope they take a moment and train their staff in customer service. It appeared the owner was there and yet, no apologies were given, just confused looks about how someone could possibly ask for their ice cream to be...

The ice cream is amazing, the environment is amazing, and the many options for ice creams, cones, cups, and add ons are also amazing. It’s just the employees who are kind of rude here. It’s not all of them, but there was a blonde woman who didn’t pay attention to my order, she messed multiple things up, and she really didn’t care about giving the customers the best experience they could have, it’s more like she was rushed and wanted to get out of...

They are still decoratin inside after reopening, but are very cute. The old time parlor feel is special and I’ve never seen an ice cream place that looks like this one.

The options were very cool and authentic. I got my son strawberry ice cream and it had actual pieces of strawberry in it. I got Raspberry Truffle and it was fantastic. Raspberry was swirled through it and so were actual truffles. I can’t wait to go back...
