Moca, Moca…. What a welcomed surprise to this area. The quality and passion that goes into cooking/serving these dishes are evident. My significant other and I come eat here at least once a week. Our personal top favorites are Mongolian beef, Chicken Pad Thai, and General Tso. I prefer to go at lunch as they offer a generous portion with a side (Miso soup is so good) for only $8.60! I mean you cannot even get a less than satisfying fast food combo filled with artificial flavors/preservatives for that price. The Mongolian beef is not on the lunch menu but he still gets it as the beef is of butcher quality and definitely worth the price. While the food is superb the proprietor is equally as wonderful. She always remembers us and goes above and beyond. I am a heavy sauce type of girl. On my last visit I ordered Chicken Pad Thai. When she asked how it was, I told her that it is delicious as always, but next time would like a bit more sauce for my noodles. I said this knowing that the sauce usually prepared while in wok. She immediately went into the back and had them whip up some Pad Thai sauce on the spot. The fact she will not let her patrons leave without being 100% satisfied is almost unheard of these days. We are sold. Lastly, we always enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant. Moca’s front of the house is always clean, welcoming and has a zen feel. I cannot speak to back of house as I have never been in the back. After ordering I always wash my hands. Even the facilities are kept tidy and very clean. If you are looking for average Asian food, look elsewhere. If you want a clean space, fresh ingredients, quality food, and caring owners then this...

Read moreOrdered pick-up on a Saturday afternoon. I called the order in and was told it would take 20 minutes. I ordered gyoza, Bejing duck rolls, chicken Tom Yum soup, seaweed salad, pineapple fried rice w/ chicken, and Pad See Yo with chicken. When I arrived 20 mins after calling the food was just out. This was perfect! They even gave me a free salad with ginger dressing.
When I got home the disappointment set in. The Pad See Yo was underwhelming. It was bland, with the noodles and chicken being horribly over cooked. The noodles were mushy and gelatinous while the chicken was rubbery. The pineapple fried rice was underwhelming as well. The rice was overcooked. The dish was sweet from the coconut milk, but otherwise had no flavor. It appeared the the cashews were just thrown on top before the lid was closed.
Now, the appetizers. They were delicious! Both were appropriately warm and had great presentation. The Bejing duck rolls had a good sauce, were a good size and had a good flavor. The gyoza was good too. The Tom Yum soup was warm and flavorful. It had a good amount of ingredients.
I gave 3 stars based on the appetizers, the timelessness of the order, and the friendly customer service. They were only taking take out orders and the phone customer service and cash out service was nice. I believe everyone is entitled to a second chance, so I may try them again after they have some time to work out the "new...
