This has quickly become our new favorite coffee shop because the coffee is excellent and the food is delicious. Unfortunately, the service really needs improvement.

The not-so-good:

Your coffee may taste different each time depending on who makes your order. Always taste it before you leave. Today my drink is missing something but unsure what they did differently. We’ve been through the drive-thru four times, and almost every time we ended up going inside to order instead. The bell goes off when you pull up, but no one answers for several minutes. Today there wasn’t anyone inside either, so it’s unclear if the drive-thru is even working properly. They are also very slow to prepare food orders, and on our last visit they charged for two oatmeals but only put one in the bag. When we went back inside, the employee said, “oh sorry, we only had one left.” If that was the case, why charge for two? That kind of mistake shouldn’t happen. Also, the oatmeal is not prepared it’s a cup you buy from the store and they charge $5. They do not add hot water for you. You have to go home and prepare it.

The staff is polite, but they need to work on their sense of urgency and attention to detail. Don’t expect a quick in-and-out Starbucks-style experience—if you’re in a rush, you may end up walking in and waiting.

The positives: The coffee is outstanding, and the food (when it arrives correctly) is really good. That’s what keeps us coming back.

The chocolate croissant was delicious; highly recommend! The lemon blueberry bread wasn't great, and the piece was small for $5. The cold coffee was good, and I love that you can actually taste the coffee vs. other places. My biggest issue was that after my total was given- the screen prompted a percentage tip. I entered my perfered percentage. I entered my card, and the card terminal then prompted me to manually enter a tip. The percentage tip hadn't added to my screen total, so I went ahead and entered $3. My total as it ran the card then showed that I had been charged both tip amounts. I hope this makes sense.
