Smiley's Jamaican Spot — Restaurant in Roanoke

This is my 3rd time going to this establishment. The first time, he didn't have anymore cabbage it was 1 p.m. The second time, he did have cabbage however it didn't taste like cabbage. It had no flavor. Today, he didn't have any plates. He had to close up and go get plates. I waited! Once he made it back, he didn't have any plantains, which is a side that comes with your meal. He didn't offer any substitutions or discounts. He seems like a nice guy. You shouldn't tell your customers that you have been drinking all day and got a late start. It was after 3p.m. Three strikes you are out. I will not attempt to support this business again.

Update: The jerk chicken was only chicken backs no legs or thighs. Not enough meat. Curry goat was just okay. ...

Went inside and ordered curry chicken. Price was supposed to be 15 Dollars but he ended up charging me 17. He think I didn’t peep it. I said ok maybe it was a mistake he was typing fast, if the food is good if I peep it again i’m gonna say something. The food was NOT GOOD. It was cold almost like he microwaved left overs and it was supposed be rice and plantains with it but I opened the tray and it had cabbage instead. Not a big deal but from my perception it seems like he cheated me a couple dollars, the food was cold and didn’t taste the best, and it didn’t come with what it was supposed to come with and to top it off he rushed the packaging so it was curry in the bag. One Stop Island Jerk or Ocho Rios are better options. Stay away...

First,The Appearance is very pleasing to the eyes ,It also was Very Clean, floors ,counters tables, chairs ,The cooking pots shining Was pleased,Second Service was very Good ,Third And the most important reason for our visit ,The Food was fresh,Hot,flavorful Just Right. It was My daughter's First visit ,She was very Happy And So was I . Will be back again . And We wish Chef Smiley much continue success. And Keep Cooking And...
