My husband and I went for the first time last night and it was sooooooooo amazing. We loved the food, and the staff were so kind and accommodating. Everything was delicious. The best fooood we had in a while!

The fried oreos were perfect. Not too greasy or heavy-coated in batter. Light and fluffy and super delicious.

Fried pickles were just like french fries and the blue cheese dill aioli style sauce was KILLER. I HATE blue cheese usually and I could not stop eating it!!!!! LOL

The burger, mac-n-please, and the wings were so flavorful. The sweet VA bbq flavor was not too sweet and just enough bbq. Absolutely delicious. We both felt a “high” after eating. It was amazing truly.

The only thing I will say, is if you go to the right side of the restaurant (first come first serve) then be aware that it is like a dog park, so you will be around tons of dogs and their owners. We didn’t know it would be like that and were caught off guard a bit, because it was a date night, and we felt some of the pet parents were focused on socializing their pet. 😭 We just wanted to eat last night haha. So just a heads up! 🤣

The outdoor dining is beautiful! They have some outdoor dining on the left side but no pets allowed, so keep that in mind as well. We will definitely be back but probably not with our dog, (unless we want a fancy dog park and dinner) so we can truly enjoy the food and staff, and not have so much focus on the pets. But we will come back to that side of the restaurant when we want a place to eat and socialize our dog. ☺️ 10+ stars!!!!...

Well my visit here was not that good they charge $15 4 piece of fish one piece of fish and a few fries for $15 you can trust and believe you will not be getting my business and you are just around the corner from me very convenient but for the service I can find better service somewhere else even Michaels I believe I pronounced it right upper-level Towers shopping center give better service than that and they give you your money's worth I guess because I was black you thought I was a fool so you only gave me one piece of fish and a few fries for $15 no you will not and I say again you will not be getting my business there are better restaurants all over town and they give you your money's worth that's why I stopped going to the little store next door to you that serves breakfast until 2 p.m. when you first open your biscuits was hot but the longer you stay open now I can call in a order living no more than eight minutes away and by the time I get there the biscuit and the Egg it's cold and I'm lucky if I get a whole egg so I stopped going there after two visits and you know what I'm going to do the same thing for this restaurant you making your money but you won't be making it on me very poor business I guess you have to charge $15 for a piece of fish to pay for all the TVs that you have in the place and it's sad I hear so much about the place they say that it's good but apparently the people that I have heard so much about your business is white maybe that's why I got such poor service...

Short version, good barbecue, good burgers, great place when it is not crazy busy!

Long version, we have driven by several times and always wanted to go based on several friends recommendations and Google reviews. We went today, a rainy Monday around noonish. It was the perfect time, not many people inside, service/Elizabeth/waitress was nice/helpful/attentive, the food was great and pretty fast. They did mention the Rib racks were not ready yet but I wasn't getting them any way. For an appetizer, we got the Onion Rings which were typical, had a good thick batter but their Bacon Honey Mustard sauce was amazing. My wife got the Wahoo Burger, a barbecue dressed cheeseburger pictured below with their house sauce which was sweet but not too sweet. Blue Ridge sweet sauce I think was the name. Their fries were seasoned and great. I got the BBQ platter with leg quarter which was smoked but not too dry or overbearing like many smoked BBQ chicken options are, and the pulled pork which was great with their house sauce and the Parmesan Garlic sauce. I got the Mac n Cheese which was great and had a kick/spice to it. I also got the Buffalo Chips, which were "home fries"/fried potatoes. For dessert, we had fried Oreos with a scoop of ice cream. It was great but we were both so stuffed and had plenty of leftovers.

Clean restaurant, good experience. We will recommend and return if their parking lot...

Went for Taco Tuesday, wasn't disappointed. As this is the first and only meal I had I can't speak for the rest of the menu but the Tijuana Taco 3 pack was absolutely delicious! I'm new to town and this spot was recommended several times as a place with a great selection but I was only handed a short list of beers. I asked about the selection and was prompted to use my imagination but when I did it didn't conjure up a pilsner or kolsch. Overall I had a good time but a second visit will reveal more I am sure. Update: I'm now at Taco Tuesday regularly for the gringo tacos (listed as traditional but not). There are also bands outside when the weather is nice and a bocce ball court.
