I made a mobile order from wendys while waiting for truck to get refilled at pilot at 708 pm. I watched 2 customers get their food. The young gentleman with a turquoise Phone went and sat down in a cubby hole and proceeded to be on their phone. I was at the counter and he just looked me. I said excuse me is my food being made. He looked at the receipt paper machine..nothing was there..cause you didnt take my order..duh!!. I said I made a mobile order.. he looked toward the drive thru. Grabbed a bag and said here. He started to walk away. I said may I have my frosty. He said what size was it??🫣 It's right there on the receipt!! I stated it was a medium. He made it...poorly! He said here. I had to ask three times for a manager. He said she on break. I asked when was it over. He said 30 mins. I told I'd be MORE than happy to wait. And I have. That was 40 minutes ago. She Knows I'm waiting for her because she heard it. She looked my way several times. She does NOT care about her customers!!!.. at all. I will be calling corporate to report all this. I'm so sad to say... she represents this company and she is a poor example of a manager. She doesnt CARE about me as a customer or as a human being. Read moreThe service at this Wendy's in the Pilot truck stop is second in bad service only to the one in West Memphis, AR. I'll give them a little credit. It's gotten better the last 6 months or so, but still sucks. Burnt biscuits. Burnt sausage patties. Cheese halfway on the sandwich and halfway on the wrapper. There's a couple new young people working there who are nice, but I suspect have been poorly trained by a penny pinching manager. Throwing breakfast potatoes that have been sitting in a fry cup back into the fresh potatoes you just made is a no-no. It may be legal, but it's not right for the customer to be eating fresh, crispy potatoes, and come across several stale ones. Read moreI ordered the Texas double cheeseburger, 4 pc nuggets and a sour cream and chive potato all on the mobile app. The order came out fairly quickly, but the food was a poor quality. The Texas double cheeseburger was completely cold, the nuggets and potato seemed as if they had been sitting there for an hour. The workers knew they were out of sour cream, but yet failed to inform me. Instead, they just handed me the bag. After opening the bag, and noticing there was no sour cream nor barbecue sauce I had requested, I asked the manager for the condiments.
