Buzzi’s Pizza — Restaurant in Rochester

I've been a fan of Buzzi's pizza for 20+ years eating it since I was young. My brother personally worked at Buzzi's when we were younger and the same goes with one of my best friends. I tried every combination of pizza offered under old ownership for so many years and was bummed to hear about it closing several years ago. I was ecstatic when I heard Buzzi's was set to reopen earlier this summer! Let me just say, not only is the new ownership great, the pizza is just as I remember! I missed opening day and day after but day three of reopening I was able to get 10 slices with zero issue! The staff and owner were great and all had smiles while personally thanking me for stopping in and ordering pizza. I was in and out within minutes. The pizza tastes exactly like I remember and can be happy I can get Buzzi's routinely again! Thank you to the great staff and thank you to new ownership for bringing back a staple...

Definitely the best pizza I've had in a long time. I hadn't been to Buzzis for a long time and noticed they were still open at 10 pm the other night so stopped to grab a couple slices of pizza.

I'm not a big pizza fan, especially as over the years I like the freezer ones and franchise chains less and less.

Buzzis pizza is really good though! The crust and dough was good and actually cooked, not greasy either. The sauce tastes really good I would get more pizza just based on that. The cheese was also really good and there was plenty on it. I usually take most of the cheese off my pizza but this was good so I kept it on and ate it.

It's really good, it's super affordable and they are open a lot of hours others aren't.

I had a friend who showed me buzzis pizza like a decade ago and it's one of the few things around that i would say is even better today!

I ordered 10 slices of pizza with pepperoni and sausage and paid $27.03. The old Buzzy's used to give you 12 cuts when you ordered 10 first of all. And secondly when I looked at my receipt I realized that they charged me $5 for the pepperoni and $5 for the sausage. There was very little sausage on each slice and a couple slices of pepperoni. But they charge $0.50 a slice for the pepperoni and $0.50 a slice for the sausage. That is way too much. The crust was very hard and crusty. Needless to say I will never go back to Buzzy's again. There are far too many good pizza shops who offer coupons and good prices. I could have gotten three large pizzas at other shops for about that same price. Sorry Buzzy's. I was one of the first customers 50 years ago at the original Buzzy's...
