Stopped for lunch after a Costco run. Very nice location near the theater and a couple business parks. It was a hot, sunny day outside just after 1pm. Took my eyes more then a few minutes to adjust to the dark. The restaurant was however well air conditioned. Server was very quick and responsive. She brought water for us with menus. Took additional drink orders while we looked over menu. She was helpful to answer questions on how things were prepared. I ordered the b roasted chicken (dark meat). She let me know immediately the food would be delayed as another guest just ordered the chicken and they only have one at a time. I wasn’t sure how long it would take, but it was 30 minutes. We thought about leaving as we were hungry and it was well after 1:40pm at this time. The waitress was very attentive and did give up frequent updates on the food. The chicken was very good. Cooked perfectly. I would definitely get this dish again, if I don’t have to wait 30 minutes. Typical sports bar atmosphere. Food was served hot and as ordered. Bottomless water glasses were very appreciated on the hot summer day we were there. Overall 9/10. They have a dedicated Parking lot. Restaurant is handicapped accessible. Large menu selection at lunch. Reasonably priced. Restrooms clean and stocked. Server was very attentive and...
Read moreRooster's has two locations in Rochester, soon to have three. Everytime we go there the food is always great. I've never ordered something that I didn't like. Their breakfast is always good too. One thing I would suggest is their fried chicken. It is one of the best in town. The portions are generous and you won't go home hungry. You usually don't need a reservation, they usually don't take them, except for maybe mother's day and father's day. They do have a full bar with about maybe 10 traps. The wait staff is usually pretty good, haven't had huge problems with them. Or last visit though, one of the bartenders that took our order didn't write it down and had to come back and ask a few different times on what we said, made the order to go when we were eating there, and got part of the order wrong. He looked like he was new and still learning and one of the other bartenders got it corrected for us. I wouldn't stop going there because of that though. However, if you are looking to go there for lunch during the week I would recommend that you have some time. I've been there on two different days for lunch during the week and the food takes a long time to come out. As for a bar restaurant, I feel that is their only downfall. I would definitely go back...
Read more9 out of 10. → The only thing I could see increasing the quality of the service would be having QR codes laminated into each table or on the bar so that people could order food and appetizers from the table but as far as drinks go you would want waiters and waitresses or the bartender to tend to you because part of the going to the bar is that social interaction element.
∞ The cooks are amazing at what they do, my favorite is deep fried pickles. You get your money's worth and it helps so your stomach will not feel queasy later if consuming alcoholic beverages.
∞ Stanley the bartender is an amazing, attentive, clean, polite, and very good at social interactions.
∞ The floor plan is very well laid out. Stanley whenever I go in there's Manning the three walled bar in the center. They're private tables to the left of the bar that are for two people and for a little bit quiet. There are a group of tables for small groups of people or you can put them together for a party. They have VR or digital golfing, they have a few dart boards, 3 or 4 she is a pull tabs, and I believe it is four tables if you're playing pool. The bathrooms are towards the back, but as far as I've seen they are...
