Chicken King Restaurant — Restaurant in Rock Hill

This restaurant was recommended by my sister, who often frequents this establishment. My aunt ordered fried whiting sandwhich, and I ordered the chef salad with a side of fries. My aunts fried fish coating was mushy, and my chef salad was thrown together in the container; he was in a rush to make it, and it showed. There were clumps of cheese, large cucumbers and tomatoes unsliced, and no love shown in the preparation. We didn't even eat our meal. Moreover, the good thing was that I received a discount for paying cash but was charged a c.c.f. fee of 3.99% . When I questioned the cashier, she couldn't tell me what the fee represented. When I requested the manager, I was told that he didn't know the register. He happened to be preparing the food and overheard my inquiry and shouted that he was behind in his orders and didn't have the time. This is the second time in a row I've been unhappy with my order. The first time I found a long blonde hair tossed in my wing sauce. I was told that I had to bring the wings back to get a replacement. It was a Saturday night, they don't open on Sundays, so I had to hold on to those wings for two days in order to get another order without any apologies or complimentary anything Monday.

This time, I paid $1 extra to have my wings tossed in sauce and the wings aren't even covered. You can't even see the sauce on most of the chicken. I asked if the $1 is for extra sauce or is it mandatory for any sauce that touches the chicken at all and she said if I want any sauce at all, $1. I paid extra money and waited over 25 minutes to not even get fully sauced chicken....

Called to place a togo order and was told a hour before they closed there no longer taking orders. Since they have hired new workers the place has gone down hill.

6/12 Gave them another chance. I called at 7:15 and was told there is a 45 min to a hour wait. Went up there at 7:50 the website say they close at 9pm. Why when I get there the doors locked and they say they are closed yet there is a customer in there. Never again....Gave them another chance and the new cook they have can clearly see me sitting outside yet he can't cook the orders from eating fries out the fry bin with no gloves are anything. Please bring back the other guy who use to cook here. I can honestly say they had improved but tonight put another bad taste...
