I tried to call in an order. It took me 4 tries because they had phone trouble. " I called in a Spicey tuna roll and Chicken fried rice. " The man at ICHIRO was very nice. They have a drive through pickup window, and a instore dining area. Everything, was good with the pickup. Quick and efficient. I ate immediately when I got home. Start with the Suschi; it wasn't spicey. I put the pickled ginger and wasabi on it and it was ok. I have had better Sushi from Public and it's cheaper. Chicken fried rice; No flavor to the dish but vegetable oil. The chicken was weird. It was shredded white strips which did not taste like chicken. I think it was old thigh meat. It had pieces of scrambled eggs and onions in the rice. Again, no flavor. No salt and pepper. They did give me a small container of soy sauce. I don't eat soy so I never use it. I really wanted to like the food. My husband got me Sushi from ICHIRO about 4 months ago. I gave it a 5 star. I don't what has happened to their quality. People still give a five. I have so many choices here in Rock Hill that I...
Read moreGranted, we ate here like 4 months ago when we first moved from Charlotte to rock hill. That being said, it was probably the most disappointing sushi experience of my whole existence. We were weary when we first ordered, but decided to go against our best judgement. Never again. The sashimi I was served (to go only, so should’ve checked before leaving) had browning. I get that things happen, but letting that happen to RAW FISH is inexcusable. The food was inedible. My boyfriend was less brave than myself & ordered lo mein. Well it may have not violated health code & basic sanitation rules, it was beyond greasy. He ate a few bites & had to toss it. All in all, it was a complete waste of money. Save it & go down the street to Fuji Japan, might not be the worlds best sushi, but it’s 99% better...
Read moreUpdate: Rude, not thankful for business. Not kind or enthusiastic that people are spending their hard earned cash to get food here. They are also very disorganized and multiple other customers seemed very irritated with the service they were getting. They have to get their act together, organize themselves better and learn basic people skills. The food was very good though.
This place is under new ownership. There used to be this girl that worked at the front who would have the BRIGHTEST SMILE! This is a GREAT PLACE! An assets to the people at Winthrop University! Everything is priced a dollar or two cheaper then usual and it keeps the students happy. A great place with a decent scene. You can also get some beers or sakey(pardon me I am too lazy to find the correct...
