I left from a hospital procedure this morning that I had to fast for. All I wanted afterwards was breakfast and coffee, but needed a drive through, and the first place that came to mind is my favorite breakfast fast food place, Wendy's. I have always had exceptional service from Wendy's over the years at other Wendy's locations but this morning was far from that. First, I pulled up to order and the person who was taking my order spoke horrible English and kept asking me questions about my order but I would have to ask her several times to repeat herself. Then, I pulled up to the window to pay and pick up my order and the customer service at the window was terrible and the person was very unfriendly. She didn't even thank me for my order and instead, I said thank you like I always do and no reply from her. I also asked her for Splenda and something to stir my coffee with and everything I asked for seemed like I was being a bother to her. I then pulled off and stopped in a parking lot across from the Wendy's. I first went to get my creamer from the bag to make my coffee and all there was, was sweet and low and sugar packets, no Splenda. Not sure if they just didn't have Splenda or the girl didn't know what Splenda was and just stuck sweet and low and sugar in the bag to appease me. Then I started pouring my creamer into the coffee and the creamer was spoiled and was clobbering up in my coffee. Not to mention, the coffee just tasted terrible. Then I went to get my food and I noticed that my potato wedges were not in the bag. Thankfully I hadn't driven far away so I went back to the restaurant, parked and went up to the door. Well, the door was locked even though the restaurant said dining room hours started at 9:00 AM and it was approximately 10:00 AM. I also observed several others park and walk up to the door when I was getting in my vehicle and when I was parked across the street, only to find it locked. So I got back in my vehicle and went through the drive through. I was greeted by a different person at the area where you place your order over the intercom with an extremely rude "What's your order?". No welcome to Wendy's and/or can I take your order. I was stunned at the "greeting". I told her I had just came through the drive through and that my potato wedges weren't in my bag. She then replies with once again, a very rude, "Pull around". I just couldn't believe that people that sounded like that with terrible customer service skills, took orders. I then pulled up to the drive through window and the same person who had previously given me my coffee and food handed me my potato wedges and didn't say a word to me. No apology or thank you...not a word. I then angrily pulled off. I was absolutely astonished how badly that Wendy's was ran and how bad the customer service was. Someone higher up in management in Wendy's definitely needs to look into this store and how...
Read moreThe ladies behind the counter are very polite, but the manager (don't know his name but he resembles Jay-Z, only heavier) cares more about his car than effectively running his business! I parked my car, opened door on a windy day, yes my door made contact with his right rear fender, but no ding, dent or paint break on his car; see photos of his car. In fact, his car has at least four areas of contact on the right rear fender! So which one was mine? You don't know. And how about the actual dings on my car, have I complained to Wendy's management about my car? No, I haven't. Yes, this guy stopped what he was doing, apparently watching his car the whole time, ran out to his car as soon as I walked in, rubbed his hand over it, then came back in and chewed me out in front of Wendy's employees and anyone else who was there. My reply to him consisted of what I wrote above, then he said he didn't care about anything else, just his car! Well, then don't drive it to work at a fast-food place, leave it at home and walk, or something else. This also happened at 11:30 AM, during lunch hour rush! Is that the kind of management that Wendy's wants to run its restaurants? After all this, the very nice lady at the register asked to take my order, which I had to tell her that I could not, and will not ever again, give my money to a business that treats me like that! Wendy's, there is too much competition out there for you to have...
Read moreI generally only post when something is very wrong or for positive feedback for an employee. I went through the drive thru before going to my chiro appt and was almost late. Service was extremely slow during lunch time which means they need more help. I was about to leave when several other cars left, so I stayed knowing I wouldn't have time for anywhere else. So I finally ordered my double burger combo meal with blueberry pomegranate lemonade that the polite girl said they had. I was so craving a burger! I ended up with one of those Biggie bag meals with a small, flat chicken sandwich w one piece of lettuce and mayo-yuck, chicken nuggets, tiny bag of cold fries and a small regular flavored lemonade. My burger definitely wasn't a burger. My husband was actually driving us and I told him wait and check the bag, but he already moved out of line! So I said I'd go in real quick and see if they just mixed up the bags. Well, there was a long line and someone who was waiting on a salad had already been waiting 20 mins. I couldn't get anyone's attention and after hearing that, I had to leave so I wouldn't be late for my appointment. They mustve had the wrong order pulled up at the drive thru because I saw the screen was correct when ordering, but then they charged me for a completely different meal! Very upsetting. Probably just won't go...
