Jersey Mike's Sub's — Restaurant in Rockaway Township

WAAAAAY overpriced! I'm a family of 3 and our lunch totaled $40! The absolute worst part about the experience is when you swipe your credit card the person at the register tells you out loud, "please answer the question on the reader", and the question is "would you like to add a tip". You're forced to answer this question while the person at the register watches your selection. If the staff at Jersey Mike's makes wages equivalent to that of a waiter which is below minimum wage, then I would be a little more inclined to offer a tip, however I'm certain they don't. I would also be more inclined if an employee went above and beyond their duties, but not for just doing their job. Their job is to make sandwiches or to work at the register, so they are already getting paid to do their job. On 5/18/2018, I visited the plaza and when I was leaving I saw their new sign at the light in front of Grecco fallen and in the middle of the road. I called to speak with a Manager to notify and save the sign before it was run over and destroyed by a car. The Manager Brian was rude and unappreciative. He hung up before I could ask if they were taking catering orders like the Roxbury location since they were just newly open. I work down the street and the office building orders out weekly. There is this one skinny guy that is behind the counter at this particular branch that makes me wanna spend my money at this particular Jersey Mike's more than any other! This guy is always smiling. Always friendly. Always wishing to talk or to wish you a good day. He is his branch. If it wasn't for him, I don't think I would even care to visit this location!!!! Sometimes it's the food that makes a place and sometimes, in the rare occasion it is a person that works there. This is the case of it being the person!!!!!
