Muldoon's — Restaurant in Rockaway Township

My girlfriend and I decided we wanted to go to Muldoon's last night 6/25/19.

When we entered we were promptly greeted and seated. Our waitress was Denise. Our drink orders were taken quickly, I had a coke and she had a Blue Lagoon. When her drink arrived, it was more of a purple because there was too much Grenadine added to it.Denise said they added too much Grenadine to it. Wouldn't you have it remade then?

When we were thinking about our food orders, the waitress Denise came over and we asked for a few more minutes and she said you can take two more minutes in a snide tone. When she came back, she took our food orders and my girlfriend had stopped her as she started to walk away, which I then caught Denise's eye roll as she turned to come back.

We were not difficult customers, but attitudes go a long way in the customer service and food industries.

Update: July 19th, 2019 and still no message or call from Muldoon's. I'm not...

I asked to be seated at 11:23 The manager on duty said yes and walked away. I sat myself. He did not give me a menu or even ask if I’d like a glass of water. I had to ask a kitchen worker if I could have a drink or a menu. It was 7 minutes until open. Allowing a customer to sit in your restaurant and walk away is awful and poor service. 12:38 rolled around and still no one on the floor. Knowing you just sat a customer 15 minutes prior . Still nothing. No menu and not one employee on the floor. I walked out of the restaurant, found a kitchen worker on his cell phone in the outside area. He went and got the manager. He was cocky and rude and had zero cares in the works that there was a upset customer. He shrugged it off and said well we weren’t open. Sorry and rolled his eyes. He did not try to make it right at all . Absolutely awful customer service. I am a server and I am at the table within 2 minutes. I will...

Wow! This place was such a shock! We had always seen it stuck in the corner of the mall but just never thought to try it. One night we did and we are so happy! The portions are huge! We didn't try the pizza but we saw a table with one and it looked fantastic! We had the Guinness Beef Pie and the Chicken Pot Pie and both were very good! They are so big and the flaky crust is amazing! My only complaint would be that I believe they are prepared beforehand and just heated in a microwave because my first bite of pot pie was cold then my second burnt my mouth! I stirred it all up and then it was all one temp but I was a little thrown off by that but otherwise it was great! Definitely...
