I wanted to take a moment to express my utmost satisfaction with my recent visit to your Rockaway, NJ location. Not only did I thoroughly enjoy the delicious cheesesteak, but the exceptional service provided by your owner, John, truly made my experience memorable.

From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by John, who immediately made me feel welcome. He not only took the time to answer my questions about the menu but also went above and beyond to accommodate my large order. To my surprise, John even offered me a complimentary serving of fries as a gesture of appreciation for my order.

The cheesesteak itself was outstanding, perfectly cooked with tender meat and just the right amount of melted cheese. The flavors were well-balanced, and the bread was fresh and delicious. I truly relished every bite and was impressed with the overall quality of the food.

So I am back again. This time when I came here. I ordered Philly steak and cheese. But this time I was clear on my instructions.

I said to the employee.

Only cheese onions and peppers. And what he does he still asks if I want mushrooms and all this other crap on it.

When I say only it means only none of that bull.

Then like my post below I said I love their fries. But the idiot still didn’t ask me for them

So this time I will go visit another Charley’s as I’m done.

I ordered a cheesesteak when I ordered I asked for cheese peppers and onions. He repeated my order which I’m happy about but he said mushrooms peppers and onions and cheese. I said to him no I want a cheesesteak with only cheese peppers and onions. He asked if I wanted it regular. I was not asked if i wanted French fries or anything else. I really like their fries one of the reasons I come here. The sandwich was good but without the fries I was lost.

If these restaurants would hire people who understand English a bit better they would have happy customers...

Whoever the guy is at the front counter, should really have some customer service experience training. He was very rude. I just myself my other customers as well ignored when we ask for stuff come mad when the lady asked for her french fries said that all these customers just have to chilled out then when I went over and asked for a lemonade, he had an attitude and then turned to the other guy as I walk away and says that’s it. I can’t deal with customers we’re not taking anyone else, you had people that walked up to the counter and you denied service because he didn’t feel like helping customers when the food court...
