I had an absolutely abhorrent experience getting my screen repaired here. I'm not normally the complaining type but the service I received was abysmal. A week after getting my LED display repaired, suddenly my screen went black again out of the blue. I had not dropped it or otherwise damaged it for it to be doing this. I called the shop on Monday and explained my situation. The man on the phone reassured me that my repair had a 90 day warranty and that he'd order another screen for me, but it wouldn't be in until Friday, he even called the manager to confirm. A bit of an inconvenience, as I need my phone for work, but I put up with it and waited. I called on Thursday to confirm that my screen would be in the next day, and I was reassured that it would be, around 1 or 2 pm. Friday comes, and by 4pm there is no phone call. I call the shop again and explain my situation, and ask if the screen is there. She says no sorry, there is a backup in shipping even though the part was overnighted and she did not understand why it wasn't there, hopefully it would be in tomorrow. I said ok, and if it wasn't, I'd be asking for a refund. I asked for the managers number and was told she had to ask if she could give it to me, and I gave her my mother's number to contact, as I was about to leave work and go home. She calls my mother and tells her either the part can be ordered and would be in Tuesday, or I could come in and get a refund. I opted for the refund. Upon going to the kiosk, the girl from the day before informs me that my mother said my phone was the s9 model, and not the S10 (despite me telling the original employee that it WAS the S10 all throughout the week). A male employee agrees and said he DID receive the S10 screen, but based upon what my mother said, he returned it. Firstly, my mother NEVER told anyone it was the S9 model. Second, clearly someone was lying about receiving the phone screen: either you received the screen, or you didn't. Ultimately I got my refund back, but not easily. I will never come here again, If you need to get your phone fixed, go somewhere else more...
Read moreRead this before you buy your screen protector in a different place than ZAGG!!! I went to a Victra Verizon store located in Denville NJ to claim a warranty for a screen protector that I got last year, they told me when I got the screen protector at that time “if the protector gets broken, you come here, you pay only $16 and we will install a new screen protector to replace the broken one”, so the protector got broken and I asked for the warranty, and they made me go to the manufacture website, fill out a form, and finally the manufacture wanted me to pay for shipping to get the replacement unit in 7 days???? so I said forget it, I don't want to deal with this people anymore, this was not the warranty that the Victra Verizon store sold me for the screen protector, so I decided to go to the ZAGG kiosk in front of the Apple store of the mall located in rockaway NJ and I got a new one right away, no dealing with websites, forms, manufactures, and lead time to get what I what I needed it; and Fahad (the sales rep) did the job!!!, I was in a rush and he installed a new screen protector in my phone in less than 1 minutes, so what Victra Verizon was going to do in 7 days Fahad from ZAGG did it in seconds, the screen protector looks great, he was really fast and nice, thanks Farah; and if I need to claim the warranty I don't need to go to websites or pay for shipping to get another one install it, they will just do it right away because they have done this in the past whit my other phones. Take that Victra Verizon, learn from ZAGG what is the meaning of customer service. Thanks Fahad,...
Read moreOn August 29th, I visited the Zagg store at Rockaway Mall in NJ around 5 PM to have my iPhone's broken screen replaced. A technician at the store informed me that the screen replacement would cost $175 and would come with a 3-month warranty, excluding coverage for drops or water damage. I agreed, had the screen replaced, paid $175, and returned home.
However, within less than three hours of returning home, the screen malfunctioned, displaying a blank screen with bright light on one side. The next day, on August 30th, I returned to the Zagg store and showed the issue to the same technician who replace the screen previous day. He examined the screen and claimed that it was broken and not covered under the warranty. When I requested to speak with the owner, I was connected via phone to someone who said he is the owner. Although he was polite, he refused to acknowledge that the repair had been done poorly.
I then took my phone to the Apple Store, where I was informed that the damage to the internal circuitry occurred during the screen replacement.
In my opinion, this store may be fine for applying a screen protector or putting on a case, but I strongly advise against getting your screen replaced here at Zagg store in Rockaway mall NJ
I would give this store a ZERO...
