This Chipotle location's staff is friendly and got our order right, and the place was clean. However, their policy was quite unusual for a Chipotle. We arrived with our 2.5-year-old toddler at around 8:15 pm, and an employee told us we couldn't sit at a regular table because they were closing other seating areas. Instead, they insisted we sit at one of the tall tables with fixed high round chairs or take our food outside. This was surprising because the outlet was supposed to be open until 10 pm.
I've never encountered such a rule and behavior from Chipotle employees in the USA. High chairs are designed for the safety of toddlers, and it's perplexing that they would ask us to seat our child on a high table without a high chair. This doesn't seem very welcoming.
If the staff is eager to go home on Sundays, perhaps they should consider adjusting the store hours to close at 8:30 pm instead of 10 pm, or offer additional compensation to the employees so they can provide service until closing time. It's important to balance business needs with customer service.
This is not just any local restaurant; it's a significant Chipotle outlet. I hope the management takes note and addresses this issue for the benefit of both customers and employees. On a positive note, there's plenty of free parking...
ย ย ย Read moreLet me start by saying I absolutely LOVE Chipotle. So much so that I'd often order from this location 4-5 times a week on a regular basis, but something has happened in the past like 3 months. I'd order online and my bowl would be 10-15 minutes late when there wasn't even a single person in line and more than a few times they'd forget my guac. My last straw was when my order was over 10 minutes late four times in a row. On the last time not only was it 15 minutes late, but my order was wrong. I said I wouldn't be returning to this Chipotle....
Fast forward one month later to today, and I decided I'd give them another chance. BIG MISTAKE. This time I made sure I'd order in person to avoid any mistakes. There was no line and I ordered just fine until they tried to charge me over $16 for a normal steak bowl with guac. I don't think a bowl with extra steak and guac even costs that much so I don't know where they even came up with that number. Not to mention, they almost charged the girl in front of me twice and almost forgot her chips.
There must have been a change in management or something cause this Chipotle has been all over the place recently. I honestly hope they get it together so I don't have to find alternatives, but at this point I...
ย ย ย Read moreI went to this location after another chipotle was out of product(lettuce and cheese) and to my surprise this one was out of product too. I was next in line to order my salad and asked for pico and was told they were out. I asked if they could take it from the Togo line and they told me no. When I asked the manager he told me that the people online paid already and it was the last container. I asked if I was less important than an online order and he stumbled over his words. If I wanted to order online I would have and received half the food you get when ordering in person. Should I have to order online in the store in order to receive a specific item? I guess the dine-in guest isnโt as important as the Togo guest. Seems a little backwards if you ask me and you should 86 online options rather then tell your customers who walk in no. The laziness of the manager who doesnโt want to 86 product in your system or accommodate the guest was alarming. I spent $21, drove 30 minutes out of my way to not get what I wanted to order. I had to go to ShopRite to buy pico so I can complete my dinner the way I...
