I go here every few months and they always seem pleasant.
The last time I went there i dinned in, ordered a personal chicken bacon bbq without onions stuffed pizza, it came back as a tomato based not bbq, so we asked for a bbq as it was something we were really craving and they agreed to make us another one. It came back looking correct but as stuffed pizza take awhile to make cause they are thick, we took it and had the next day. (we went with others who ordered a bunch of appetizers and a family sized salad. We ate that as our dinner.). This is where it gets important.
The next day we realized that the seemingly fine pizza was riddled with onions. And we ordered it without onions. So i had called in, and they offered another pizza to me. Which was extremely kind of them. The third time was the charm. It came out perfect and delicious as ever. It shouldn't have had to take 3 times to get it right, but they were willing to fix their mistake which i highly value next to the quality of food.
Here is a list I have ordered from them from the past-
Appetizers
Garlic cheese fries- ehh, they are ok. But not the best i have had. I feel as though they just sprinkle garlic powder on it and add some parmasan cheese. I feel its very bland.
Regular fries - very good.
Cheese sticks - or as they have, cheese triangles. Tastes like normal mozzarella sticks, just in triangle form.
Garlic cheese bread - it is good, could use some more cheese as it hadnt reached the whole thing.
Toasted ravioli - delicious!
Breaded mushrooms - i dont eat these but i know of 3 people who do. It is only avalible in their sampler platter. One person really enjoys their breaded mushrooms while the other two were not fond of them.
Chicken tenders - so amazing!
Salads:
I have only tried the ceaser salad with chicken. And i have to say, thats the best ceaser i ever get. The ceaser is nice and creamy its leafy, you actually get enough to feel satisfied when eating it. The bread that comes with it is also amazing. If i could get an order of those as breadsticks i would be in heaven.
Meals:
Ravioli - its been awhile since i have gotten this, so maybe they are better now, however when i ordered this i was expecting to have a plate full of ravioli. Instead i had like 4 big ravioli which i didnt really like. I would rather have like 13 normal sized ravioli than 4 big ones. It tasted fine, just not my cup of tea.
Their stuffed pizza: As you may have read above i have had their chicken bacon bbq stuffed pizza, without onions. It tastes fantastic when made correctly (I even have a friend on who isnt a picky eater, but only eats that pizza when its fron giordanos.) if you are a fan of sweet baby rays bbq, you will really enjoy it. If not, then not sure how you will feel about it.
I also tried the altercation of the pizza sauce chicken bacon pizza, it was ok. The sauce was good. But i feel if i was going to get normal sauced pizza, i would get other toppings. It just didnt taste right to me personally. Or maybe i just really wanted the bbq pizza so i had high hopes. Either way, the normal sauce tastes fine and i think next time im going to try a normal pizza.
I hope this long review helped give some insite to this location. I leave long reviews so everyone can make their...
Read moreA very heated altercation ensued between two female employees and “Raul” who was explained to be the General Manager during my visit. When I ordered my two pizzas over the phone, I was told that it would take 35 minutes for the pizzas to be ready. I arrived at 35 minutes to the establishment, and I then had to wait 20 or so more minutes for my order. When the employee advised the general manager that I had been waiting for an extended amount of time, the argument ensued. During my wait, I was subjected to a very heated argument between employees and management. The “F” bomb was screamed around numerous times as the argument became more heated. I thought a fight was going to break out. I was in such disbelief, I asked the young lady who was initially helping me and who was also a part of the argument to cancel my tip. I shared with the employee that I appreciated her service and telling the manager that I had been waiting, but that I was very displeased with what just occurred. I heard the employee tell the general manager in the back that she needed to cancel my tip, in which he responded “It’s only seven dollars, she can have that back.” Immediately, the employee, in tears, told management that she was leaving for the night. She left mid shift. I attempted to explain to the general manager that I was displeased with my service and I didn’t appreciate him saying that it was only seven dollars as if my tip meant nothing. He spoke over me numerous times and even walked away from me while I was speaking. The manager would not listen to my concerns, and tried to shut me up, telling me, “I have other customers to serve.” I explained to him that the experience I had was extremely unprofessional, displeasing, and triggering. He responded that they are humans, mistakes happen, and it’s going to happen again and again in this industry. He also explained that the employees who were arguing were mother and daughter. I explained to him that yes, he does have other customers, but they didn’t have to endure what I just endured between himself and the other employees. I explained to the manager that I was unhappy and felt disrespected that he would not listen to my concerns. Therefore, I would like to cancel my order. He denied me from canceling my order, advising me that he already made the food, and there was nothing wrong with the service. I explained to him that I wanted to cancel my order, in which he shoved Parmesan cheese packets, pepper packets, and plates and napkins in my face as he tried to hurry me from the...
Read moreCalled for delivery at 5, was told 45 minutes to an hour, granted I'm far away so I expect longer. Get a call at 6 saying my driver went to the wrong address because 'they typed in the wrong city'. If you type in my address with any nearby city; it still corrects to my actual address. However this is a town at least 20 minutes away, so I request to send a fresh pie given mine has been driving around town already. Delivery driver shows up within a half an hour "here's the old one, we're making a fresh one and sending the second out soon," he then proceeds to not hand me the receipt to tip/sign.
I wait til 8:15 - Both the manager or possibly owner and the delivery driver said there will be a 2nd pizza. I call. Phone lady tried to immediately argue with me saying its most likely been sitting on my porch, tried to argue that EVERY pizza place just sits the pizza on your porch, no door knock/bell ring because obviously what driver would want a tip, right? So I look, sure enough, clearly no pizza. Get the manager on the phone, he starts arguing, acting clearly like a child.
"I've been running this business for 30 years"
Sure, pal. That's why you're arguing to a loyal customer who has paid a lot of money in the past couple of years.
"We don't want your business anymore"
Well good, because you're clearly not getting again, and yes, I will more than happily be taking my money back - as my order was CORRECTLY SENT, THE FIRST TIME EVEN, BY SAM'S ON HARLEM - AND IT WAS DELICIOUS, DRIVER WAS TIPPED EXTRA BECAUSE OF HOW BAD YOU PEOPLE WERE LAST NIGHT.
YOUR MANAGER/OWNER IS DISRESPECTFUL, NEEDS TO LEARN SOME MANNERS, AND GROW UP.
My family and I will not be dealing with such rude people, do not try to contact any of us, I gave you more than enough chances to right your wrongs, your customer service is worse than...
