I only had spring rolls but loved the inside of this place. The chicken spring rolls were good. The crunchiness of the chicken was a perfect match for the veggies. Only thing bad i can say is that they weren't chicken & shrimp together. I wasn't happy with myself for leaving the phone in the car. It had a big fish tank filled with Oscars & other predatory fish. Among them a white Oscar as big as crappie, a snakehead & an alligator gar. Wish i had the kids with for this stop. There was a few tropical looking plants i enjoyed. There was what i believe to be religious artifacts beyond the simple budda statues that have come to be related with asian restaurants. Did not mind the short wait for my food with all the interesting things to keep my eyes & mind busy. They had gaming machines that have become common in Illinois but they also had lotto which I had never seen in a business that was strictly a restaurant. I couldn't not buy one myself even though i avoid playing if its under $100 mil. I overheard people talking about how their Asian drinks have been selling but it was late & had to get back on the highway. I will say they were looking good in pictures but not in a highly staged fake McDonalds, Burger...

Huge fan of their veggie spring rolls-easily the best ones in Rockford, unless you know of someone selling them out of their house "on the down-low" that can top these. Two orders of them as appetizers could easily be a meal by itself, but you will probably want three orders of them to hoard just for yourself as a meal.
I wish the menu had more items on it. They have a few other vegetarian/vegan options which are tasty, but not as awesome as the veggie spring rolls are.
I'm told their pho is the best in town, but I don't eat meat so I cannot vouch for it personally. Plenty to eat here for those who eat meat-most of those items look and smell tasty when I've seen them.
On and off street free parking. No reservations necessary for dine in. Speedy, friendly service. Carry out also offered. Limited liquor service. Come as you are, and come hungry. Moderate pricing-figure about $40 or so per couple with one frozen smoothie beverage each and one entree each for dinner, taxes included. Tip and appetizers...
Read moreLack of motivation to operate? Came here first time and they were closed earlier than posted by an hour. Second time coming here stood and waited at least 30 minutes before seating us with no apologies. There was only one table with customers otherwise it was empty. The food was average when compared with other local Vietnamese foods. Ordered noodle bowl with two fried spring rolls for my mom but no spring rolls could be found. Asked the owner? about it and he went back in to get them like he wasn't happy and never apologized. Charged price was also higher than written on menu so remember your prices. I really wanted to like this place but it was a fail on all levels food and service. I'm a foodie by heart and profession and have had Vietnamese food from Florida to Canada to Asia and this was a huge let down especially when I brought family...
