Lung Fung 2 — Restaurant in Rockford Township

I went to dinner with my best friend, and my grandma happened to already be at the restaurant finishing her meal. She had her food boxed up and was just sitting and chatting with us while we ate.

When the check came, the waitress combined our table with my grandma’s—even though she was already done and we weren’t dining together. I asked for separate checks, and she said, “I can’t, you guys are together. If I separate them, I’m charging you $1 for each check.” Absolutely ridiculous.

Then I noticed an automatic 18% gratuity had been added because she claimed we were a “big party.” In reality, it was two of us dining. My grandma’s bill was separate (for three), but we weren’t together, didn’t order together, and didn’t even sit at the same table. When I questioned the extra $19 charge, she doubled down and said it was because we “came in as a big party.”

On top of that, my food portions were skimpy and the waitress barely checked on us—she only came over to drop off our plates and then again with the check. Between the poor service, tiny portions, the shady “big party” charge, and the threat of adding $1 per check, it felt like they were just looking for ways to take our money.

Shrimp with lobster suace lunch.. I don't know what this is supposed to be but it was awful.. I took two bites of the rice and egg roll then packed it back up and took it back. They refund me with no problem, but took the food to the back. You should have thrown it away in the front. I wouldn't be surprised if they would try and reuse this because it even tasted reused. I've never ate here before so I don't know what the rest of there dishes are like(I didn't even eat one shrimp) but I'd highly advise not eating here. Oh and there was a couple random small pieces of chicken in there too... I didn't order chicken. But again I probably was gonna be eating reused old food.

Edit: I changed from one star to a three.. Because I'm not mad at the moment as the time.. I may have not liked the food but I'm sure others do. So for that... It is what it is. But besides my slight anger from above my comments still stand.. The food just wasn't for me. And I'm not sorry...

Yes I CURSED. Tonight my husband called in dinner for take out. I wrote beef chow mein. He ordered beef chow mein. We didn't get the noodles that come with beef chow mein. Called in to see why and found they entered beef KOW. Folks, because my 62 year old husband said yes when they read it back, she insisted that was what we ordered and wouldn't budge. Her argumentive attitude was an embarrassment to business owners. She kept repeating that she took the order and he confirmed it WAYNE right? The order for Wayne?? After arguing that we ordered chow mein and need the noodles I said we will just pay for them. She said they would be $7.95. Noodles on the menu are listed at $3 for a side. Needless to say we'll find another place to regularly spend our hundred dollars. The worst customer service - like talking to a brick wall when SHE heard it wrong to begin with. Ironically, my fortune...
