Review of the Newly Opened Chipotle in Rocklin The newly opened Chipotle in Rocklin is a bit smaller than other locations, but it does offer the convenience of a drive-through. The food quality was typical of Chipotle, but I encountered a few issues during my visit.
Firstly, the ice machine was not working. I mentioned this to a couple of employees, but unfortunately, nothing was done to fix it. I understand that they are likely still training new staff, as it seemed like there were more new employees than usual. Despite this, the staff were all very nice and courteous.
My main complaint is the price. For two people, it cost $57, which included a kids' meal, a burrito, four tacos, chips and salsa, and two drinks. I requested double steak on my burrito and was surprised to see that the extra scoop of meat cost an additional $5.60.
Overall, I found the food to be overpriced for the quality. While the staff were friendly and the drive-through is a convenient feature, the high prices and minor issues like the non-functional ice machine detracted from the...
Read moreI had the pleasure of attending Chipotle’s soft opening today, and it was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had at any Chipotle! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the manager, Emilio, whose friendliness set the tone for the entire visit. The line staff were incredible—smiling, welcoming, and working together like seasoned pros.
The service was fast, efficient, and flawless, and you could tell the team genuinely enjoyed what they were doing. The food was fresh, perfectly prepared, and served with care. It’s rare to see such a well-oiled machine, especially during a soft opening, but this team nailed it!
Kudos to Emilio and the whole crew for creating such an outstanding atmosphere. If today was any indication, this Chipotle location is going...
Read moreThe Roseville/Rocklin area is notorious for having bad chipotles (In my opinion). Often I get smaller portions and dry/nasty food (It’s a rich area, wtf?!?!). This is in stark contrast to the Yuba Chipotle which is by far better.
This Chipotle, though, gives excellent portions and the food has been fresh!
The layout is kinda bad, with the trashcan/refills/etc. being blocked by a wall. This makes it hard for the employees to see if anything needs servicing.
This place is still very new, to which orders have been wrong and the employees are still getting into flow of things.
The guy who gave 2 stars saying this is the lesser of all the other ones in the area is insane. This is 100% one of the better chipotles around the...
