McDonald's — Restaurant in Rocklin

One of the "modern" McDonald's stores. Unless you're looking for it on the northwest corner of the intersection, you're liable to miss it. Note that access to the restaurant is limited to the westbound lane of Park Drive.

Inside the new/ultra-generic dining area are the latest in self-serve kiosks that are the company's answer to minimum wage increases, although I noted a hiring poster that advertises McD's starting wage is 25 cents above California's minimum. Since they don't give you an employee discount for doing your own order and payment, I prefer to order from an actual human, especially when still trying to sort out the nutrition desires of 3 grandchildren.

This McDonald's has Coca-Cola's new self-serve machines that enable you to dispense enough soda varieties and add-ons to make any one of literally thousands of soft drink blends to your satisfaction... and the inevitable annoyance of people lined up behind you waiting for their turn at sensory overload.

The food is McD's common fare, brought out to your table in the hopes of appearing a bit more upscale.

Bottom line: it's a McDonald's. Neither great nor bad. Kids generally like it, but the total on the receipt is progressively moving into Denny's price territory and is no longer as much the bargain that the company built its...

Do not support this mcds. Worst experience at a fast food place EVER. Made an order at 11:36pm, drive off to find out not only was everything cold but hardly had any fries and the burger had to have been made by someone blind. I asked for lettuce, got charged for it and instead got a horribly made hamburger as soon as I opened the box. Went back at 11:46. Went straight to the drive through window and the open sign turned off right before my eyes. Mind you they close at 2am. An Asian man and woman saw me waiving a receipt and the bag my order was in and decided to just shake they had no and hide from me. After 10min I was driving off and from the front windows I saw the Asian man go to the drive through window so i rushed back to hopefully get my correct order and to get it hot. There was a hand written sign that said “closed at midnight not 2am.” Are you kidding me! I refused to eat that garbage I was given. Do not support this Mcds until the Asian man and Asian female cook are fired. These jobs belong to hard working Americans not lazy...

They always mess up my order. I have ordered a big breakfast with pancakes one time but they gave me pancakes and sausage. I ignored it but today i ordered a decaf coffee and i saw the person making it poured a regular coffee not a decaf. They shouldve ask me if they dont have it ready. Thats deceitful! I used to work at McDonald's but this is the first time i saw someone poured a regular coffee for a decaf coffee and its such a disappointment. I know it's a fastfood but theyre not that busy when i was there to get it all confuse with coffee. Some people cant have too much caffeine and by messing with their coffee could harm their health please be more respectful with your customers order. I am never coming back...
