MF Gyros & Burgers — Restaurant in Rocklin

We stopped in after finding this place on google looking for some late night eats. Drove down from Grass Valley to give it a try. We got there around 10:30pm and we ordered two combo gyros with fries and a soda and a side order of felafels and some balaclava for dessert. Everything tasted great, the two guys working there were both very friendly and attentive, offering to grab us soda refills. The vegetables in the gyros were fresh and crisp and the sauce they put in there was so flavorful with a little bit of spice added to it. The fries were cooked to perfection crispy on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. The felafels were cooked perfectly and had a great taste. A friend and I were leaving Safeway when we saw the grand opening sign and decided to give it a try. I got the lamb rice plate and she got the chicken loaded fries. I wish I remembered to take pics because the food was phenomenal! My lamb was cooked perfectly and the flavor was huge. We both decided this is gonna be our new go to when we’re in the area. The owner is so nice too! Our food came out quickly and after he gave it to us he asked how our day was, how we had heard about them, and really seemed to care about the business. Maybe I came at the wrong time but and I might try it again but the cashier was a bit impatient but also repeated every question a few times more then I thought was necessary considering I was one of 4 people there and the only one ordering and it was midnight. Also the food looked a lot better in the picture serving size was small even for the price and the meat was super bland and rubbery even with the sauces felt like I was eating the mystery meat from the middle school lunch just cut up into tiny pieces. Stuff like this is all reasons why most restaurants don’t make it more than a year, but I’m gonna order a burger next time hopefully...
