So it's Christmas Eve weekend Friday and I am for one grateful that this is the only company that delivers to Yorkville. I call and orders pizza and Popper's... I asked before the the order about delivery time... He said 45-1 hour which I was okay with. After two hours I called the place and they were very respectful to me and said let me get driver to call. Later the driver called me, I don't know his name. White guy with glasses... But he was very respectful on the phone... Yes sir, no sir mentality. So he said he isn't too far away, he then comes to my house and in my mind I still wanted to tip because I'm feeling in the holiday spirit. But he came up respectfully and professionally to my house and said, "I have an order for this address and want to tell you it's on the house. No charger will be applied to you and I want to wish you a merry Christmas." I still wanted to tip but didn't have cash. I felt grateful and what started out as a bad experience turned out to be a good one. Respect to the workers and their customer service! I'll...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAwful experience with my delivery order tonight. We placed an order at 2:58pm and were told it would take 60 minutes to arrive. I never heard a knock at my door or my doorbell ring but when I called at 4:23pm to figure out where my food is Iām told itās outside on my porch and that the driver knocked three times and rang my doorbell. Ok, whatever. But when we step out to get our food half of it is missing. My husband called back and asked for a refund and for the rest of our food and we were told they canāt do refunds. You run a business where you take payment from customers and you canāt produce a refund? Over an hour after that phone call we still didnāt have our food and so we had to call back and are told they donāt know where their driver is and that he had to take other orders. When it finally got here my calzone had hair in it. You would think when someone spends almost $50 on food you would care about being punctual with the 20 minute time frame given after the first call and try to make it right or at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCalled and placed an order at just after 7:00 on a friday evening, was told 15-20 minutes. I show up at 20 min, I expected it to maybe take a few minutes extra due to being busy, but I wait around until about 8:10 when the girl working the counter walks out with my food saying they messed up my small pizza so they remade it as large no charge, whatever. I had also ordered a sampler platter. Made it home, less than 5 minutes away, and the sampler platter was like it had sat out for 30 minutes. Mozzarella cheese was hard in the sticks and the potato skins were just barely over room temperature. We had also ordered a grilled buffalo chicken pizza, which they gave fried. May seem small, but when there was absolutely nothing good about the experience, its pretty sad. Back 15 years ago when yall could hold steady employees and it wasnt people running around like chickens with their heads cut off, I never would have expected this to have happened at my FORMERLY favorite...
