Bethesda Bagels — Restaurant in Rockville

Three weeks in a row. 3/4 sized bagels. Tasty though. Excellent whitefish salad.

There's something going on here ... the bagels are 75% the size of what they used to be. Tasted great as usual. But they're obviously trying to make more profit out of each bagel.

You've changed man ... the bagels have shrunk! Is this on purpose or just an anomaly? I've never seen such small bagels ... what's going on?!?!?!?

Onion bagel and Whitefish salad: 10 out of 10. I buy 'em whole, toast 'em and jazz-up 'em up at home (butter, cream cheese, lettuce, cucumber, etc.). So good ...

Yet again ... waiting in line for 10 minutes for a 30-second transaction because they have the best onion bagel in the world.

I'm trying to figure out why I wait in line for 10 minutes for a 30-second transaction. Oh that's right, because they have the best bagels and Whitefish salad in town.

A complete "hit"today! Excellent Whitefish salad, always the best bagels, finally two cashiers and they were both extremely efficient.

Today, of course their bagels were excellent. And - finally - a hit! Whitefish salad was excellent. (Wednesday around 9am, Rockville location)

Best onion bagels EVER. Don't talk to me. This is not open for discussion.

I'm trying to figure out why I waited in line for 15 minutes, for a 30-second transaction. Oh, that's right - they have the best onion bagels in the world.

So, when I arrived at the Rockville location, there were 20 people in line with one cashier. I decided to wait ... and wait ... and wait ... and wait ... and wait a little more. And then - no surprise - after after my 30-second transaction was completed, they decided to open a second cashier! ...

Unbelievably good. Order online & in advance!

We get these 4 items EVERY TIME because they're so good: Bacon, Egg, Cheese Bagel = PERFECT Egg, Cheese Bagel = VERY GOOD Avocado, Egg, Cheese Bagel = PERFECT Pepperoni Pizza Bagel = VERY GOOD

Whole essays could be written about these above 4 items, especially the Bacon/Egg/Cheese & the Avocado/Egg/Cheese. Toast it, add cheese, add vegetables. Unbelievably good + CHEAP!

We have also tried these 8 other items: Raisin Walnut Cream Cheese Bagel = very sweet! almost too sweet :-| Plain Cream Cheese Bagel = solid choice, especially with a good bagel and toasted Peanut Butter and Jelly Bagel = great choice, a little simple Cream Cheese and Jelly Bagel = delicious, but messy! Cheese Sandwich / Bagel = PERFECT choice if you want a bagel sandwich, especially adding the vegetable choices BLT Bagel = VERY GOOD, especially adding the vegetable choices Turkey Bagel = lots of meat!! Plain Cheese Pizza Bagel = very good, simple and delightful

The good-alright bagel options we've tried: Plain, Sesame, Chocolate Chip, Cranberry Orange, Garlic, Salt

Helpful hints: Order in advance using their website (lots of options!) Wait the time suggested Park a little farther away than right up-front to the store on the 2nd or 3rd row from the business (this whole shopping center is a busy area & this restaurant itself is VERY busy on weekends) Be confident/relaxed as you enter & do not be overwhelmed by the people inside waiting -- the to-go / take-out area is on the front left of the counter, which you can use because you ordered in advance

Try it out, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy...

I usually don’t do this but is the third time is happening. Today July 17th, I made a online order from Bethesda Bagels FALLS GROVE. I love Bethesda Bagels, the first time I tried them somebody bough them for me and I really love them. They were from GEORGETOWN, BETHESDA STORE. Today we bough a steak and egg bagel, a Chicken salad sandwich and a plain bagel with cream cheese. The steak and egg didn’t bring any egg, the onions were not grill as we requested and my bagel which was the chicken salad, the bagel was stale. Very disappointing because you spect your order to be right. We live 20 minutes away from this store so is not that easy to comeback and talk to them. This is the third time is happening, I guess they don’t care and maybe they thing that because you order has lots of toppings you won’t notice, but in a steak and egg when the egg is missing… I’m pretty sure you will notice. The next available store is 30-35 minutes away from our house so we will be using Bethesda store instead of falls grove because is not ok to do this kind of mistakes. The second time that this happen I called the store and they say come back tomorrow and we will do your order right, but honestly, it feels weird to go back to get another bagel and tell them, at least for me I don’t feel comfortable doing it.
