The customers service was really bad! I have ordered family platter and went to pick it up. The girl who has BLONDE HAIR color only handed me one bag so l pick it up and left without questioning about my order. Shortly after l got home and found out that my order was not completed, so l called the restaurant with questions. Guess what? The blonde hair girl picked up the phone and realized that l called, so she handed the phone to her manager to answer my phone call. I told the manager my order was not completed, the entrees were missing. Why this's happened? The manager told me wasn't her fault because I supposed know that family platter is big platter, therefore, it will have more than one carryout bag. So, l asked him " You meant l am the one should know something is not right????" He could not answer the question and told me the food will be ready at the counter "IF I WANT TO PICK IT UP!" ????? I went to pick up my "Missing entrees" since l already paid for it. When l got there, this girl showed me such bad attitude and talked to me in her native language just because l don't understand what she was saying!!!! I can't believe it... this's happening.... I only have one question to every one. What will happen for our children in the future??? This girl is the example for our young generation will turn out to be in the future??? It's sad....... The management is so poorly done and bad customer service! For sure, this not the restaurant...
Read moreBe prepared for bad service, a bad attitude and a long wait. This chain usually has reasonably OK food. The problem with this location is that they always have an excuse for taking a long time to prepare your meal.
You should order online 45-60 minutes before you want to eat -- and that's just for 1 meal (=2 kabobs and some salad); if it's more complicated, you may need to order several hours in advance. Alternatively, you can go into the store and wait 20-30 minutes for a single meal. Today they couldn't even prepare a single meal in 30 minutes.
When I asked for a refund, it took them 10 minutes to find someone who knew how to process a refund, and the manager was seriously put out that I wanted a refund when they couldn't say how long it would take to serve my meal. All the while there are 8 people wandering around the kitchen leaving one to wonder how they couldn't grill 2 kabobs in 30 minutes.
There are other places with food just as good and they will actually appreciate your business and serve you a meal in less than 30 minutes....
Read moreWe stopped by Morby Dick around 7:30 in the evening. The place wasn’t crowded inside, but you could tell they were busy with nonstop pickup orders. It was our first time there, and while we were checking the menu, Mike noticed we were a bit unsure and came right over. He introduced himself and kindly explained all the food options in detail.
While waiting, we were served warm bread with three sauces , a creamy yogurt cucumber sauce, a spicy green chutney, and another flavorful sauce. Everything tasted fresh, and you can even ask for more if you’d like extra!
When our food arrived, we were surprised by the huge portions and how delicious everything was , hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Mike seemed to really know the menu by heart (maybe he’s the owner 🤔)and he made us feel very welcome.
The restaurant is spotless, the staff are polite, and the atmosphere is pleasant. We’re so glad we chose this place for our stop and will definitely be...
