I randomly found this place last week and it is definitely a hidden gem. I placed an online order using their website. The ordering process was easy and their ordering platform is super user-friendly. Corned Beef King is the only corned beef, and Jewish delicacies (often with their own spinoff) worth eating in this area. They also sell Dr. Browns canned sodas!
I ordered the “Identity Crisis” on rye, and made it a combo with onion rings and a Dr. Browns diet cream soda. I also ordered a dessert — essentially a brownie egg roll — it was absolutely delicious. No complaints whatsoever.
Onion rings were made to perfection and my rye bread never got soggy. I saved half of my sandwich to eat for later.
I also think it is absolutely ingenious that the owners set up an entire restaurant, essentially in half a warehouse and also utilize a food truck. I enjoyed the unconventional atmosphere because pick up was super easy, no crowds or parking chaos, and my food was ready at the time I requested; the gentleman who greeted me and provided me my food was very kind. Read moreMission Accomplished with Corn Beef King ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ As a native Montreal and veteran health care worker, legend has it that we are very spoiled and therefore very discerning when it comes to Delis.
On this very difficult occasion, we ordered catering for 16 people after my 93 yr old Mom’s niece suddenly passed away , We reached out to John Rossler and he provided OUTSTANDING service this was only matched by an OUTSTANDING feast .
How do we know? because the next day the phone did not stop and they raved about it eg - the brisket was sooooo juicy , the corn beef and roast beef were perfection, the potato salad was the best- as I usually pass on potato salad,- this time I could not resist - the breads were soooo fresh and delicious- everything was set out nicely and dishes were warmed up properly and their was an abundance in quantity and on and on, Considering that we were unable to fly for health challenges , we were sooooo grateful to Jon for going the extra many miles and bringing some comfort to our dear...
Read moreI had the chili dog with cheese and onions, and it was incredible!
I mulled over the menu and considered the pastrami or corned beef, but ultimately I really wanted a hotdog and so that’s what I got. The prices are not bad for what you are getting. The hotdog was the most delicious I’ve ever had. The roll was heavy and substantial, and not like a grocery store hotdog roll at all. And it needed to be heavy too because the hotdog isn’t a skimpy thing, it’s absolutely heavenly, and the chili is incredible and their own concoction. I’d loved it because it was heavy with onions and peppers. The extra onions ordered to go on the sandwich were delicious sweet morsels.
There isn’t a lot of atmosphere here, but there is a delicious lunch waiting for you. Do yourself a favor and whatever you have for lunch, buy an extra one and take it home for later! You’re not going to be disappointed that you did. I can’t...
