Pho Nom Nom — Restaurant in Rockville

This was first time trying this location - heard great things and honestly like to give out reviews for the whole experience. I placed an order through grub hub and when I showed up the guy tells me that they don’t accept grub hub anymore and they don’t see my order after telling them that i I received a confirmation and was charged by grub hub and proceeded to tell me that he doesn’t see me order on his end, cancels my order and walks away and start cleaning tables. I got a text that he canceled my order while I was there waiting. Why lie ? If you said you didn’t see my order but you can cancel it ?? He laughs after coming back and I asked why he couldn’t he provided any solution to this ? I was willing to pay for my food again and settle through grub hub later. There was another older gentleman was extremely nice took my order and charged me and gave me food in less two mins. Very accommodating but the other guy was nice but he was unwilling to help me and felt like he was taking this out personally as everyone there was having a great time. It was a bit rude to not explain that he canceled my order while I was in front of him and didn’t say anything as I was waiting … Food...

One of the most incredible Pho places I have ever eaten at. They could work on hygiene a bit. You don't bring out fresh food with the same hand that just cleared tables with your fingers down in glasses people drank out of now on dishes with fresh vegetables and on or in soup and new drinks. It gets kind of gross. But the Pho can't be beat and they are swift to get it out. I would eat almost 4 to 5 times a week in here when I was living well. I couldn't get enough of it since back in the '90s when I heard about Pho on NPR. I have looked for the best kitchens around. There is one down Rockville Pike where the guy there smoked like a stove and then puts his hands in the cups they put the sauces in, that is across from White Flint Metro. It's gross as all get out. Spartan place with concrete floor and aluminum tables. I never go there any more. Hygiene is everything and if you smoke then don't wash your hands and your nicotine stained fingers go on people's plates and in the food, it's just over for the appetite. Pho Nom Nom - where the big is small, the small is big and if you don’t pay attention, you could be paying for what you either didn’t order or didn’t get. I think I came on the wrong day. When I came in, staff was counting money. Not sure if that was a good day, bad day, tip or what but someone wasn’t too happy. Anyway, I received a huge bowl of salt water with some bones thrown in for flavor. Then I was forgotten about. Maybe because I was in the corner, maybe not. Also the beef is of the cheap kind. I had no variation in brisket. The onion was chopped so large, I think someone might have been angry enough to cut it that way. Then, I ordered a large and received a large but the customer next to me ordered a small and I received the same size as he. So I inquired what I received. Then the customer mentioned he didn’t think it was worth mentioning. Well of course not if you receive something to your benefit. If they write “small” on the ticket and you receive a large and you only pay for a small, you have benefited. This place is just a no for me. I was on a salt high all the way back down 270.
