Update: Originally I wasn't a huge fan of TeaDo, but after going time and time again it has slowly grown on me. I think TeaDo is a great bubble tea place if you want to stop by somewhere that has some unique drinks and flavors (something that they've really improved over these past few years) and the best part is that TeaDo is open fairly late. Pre-COVID, TeaDo was my go to place if it was after 8 PM because I always knew it was open. While I see many people talking about how it is a distracting place to study at, I think that's an unnecessarily negative thing to say because TeaDo isn't really the type of place to study at to begin with. The design of the place is more like a bar, and most people wouldn't study at a bar to begin with. Rather, Tea-Do is much better for just socializing with friends as they have some rather long tables (pre-COVID). Recently I tried their new Tiger Sugar drink (I think that's what it was called) and it was extremely good. Definitely check TeaDo out if you haven't already!
Old Review: Many people believe this place is pretty good, but in my opinion it is not that unique. They have many cool sounding flavors such as the Hulk and Grasshopper, but these tend to have very unique tastes (for better or worse). If you would like to try something different and unique, then this is your place to go! However, this is basically all they offer. They have little variety outside of their special flavors. For example, their milk tea section only has four flavors, and they are all hot. These milk flavors are also labeled as a large on their menu flyer (for $3), but on the menu it has a small and a large with different prices (I also could not drink my bubbles from my hot drink because it did not have a hole on the lid like the ones KFT has for their hot drinks). I would say the only three good things about this place are: the very unique flavors, they are open late, and it is not too expensive. Some bad things about this place would have to be that 1) parking is extremely difficult during the busy hours, misleading menus, and the...
Read moreI have been a loyal customer since 3 years ago and today I decided to give a review due to bad expired topping and bad customer service when I went in to talk about it. I got 2 large taro milk tea with bubble and pudding and during my loyal visit to teado, I only get taro milk tea with both bubble and pudding and only 2 out of 10 times, I would get mango green tea. Getting back to today experience, for my drink, I almost finished it but I didnât really get pudding when drinking until the drink reached to the bottom. And the I tasted the sour pudding. I stopped and asked my uncle to taste the pudding and he literally opened the car window and spit it out. I said to him âletâs turn around and go tell them itâs really bad. Itâs so sourâ. We turned around and talked the girl with glasses on(who also took my order before) didnât believe and offered me to refund for that pudding topping which is like 50 cents. I then told her no itâs bad like itâs expired, itâs sour. She still insisted thatâs how pudding tastes and thatâs how it should look. I said can you taste the pudding you put from your fridge, she said I donât personally even like egg pudding and then said I can fully refund it if that makes easier for you. I did get the refund but I really did not like how she responded. She also kind of rolled her eyes like really can you not say Sorry or let her coworker taste the pudding or something? I threw away the drinks at the door on my way out. Very bad service. I miss...
Read moreAfter several incorrect Uber Eats deliveries, I finally decided to call in to speak with a manager. Manager âonly in name,â Mina seemingly knew that the order could not be filled correctly but was still delivered. She proceeds to say someone should have called to explain the situation. However, I received no such call. In addition to missing pre-selected items, I paid extra not to have ice included in my tea to avoid a warted-down taste upon delivery. Somehow my tea still had ice. After voicing my dissatisfaction with the calm but nonchalant responses of the manager, her demeanor changed, and the excuses began. She stated that she could not be responsible for the incorrect order because the workers were high school and college students, as if they were incompetent in fulfilling an order that included tea with no iceâjust a complete joke. The disappointment is not only that my food was not delivered as specified, but the establishmentâs response was idiocy. After paying $50 for tea and rice essentially, I would expect a much better dialogue and solution. My intention was not only to be refunded in any amount left to her discretion but to bring awareness to the business about how the delivery orders are being prepared incorrectly. I could have contacted Uber Eats if it was just about a refund. As a family that likes this cuisine, I thought it better to make them awareâhowever, no refunds (or Fâs were given). But thereâs always...
