Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Rockwall

To Readers: This store is brand new as of two days ago. What people reading these reviews need to understand is that while Marco's was open for several weeks... It was a soft opening. They were testing out their systems, getting everything figured out, as a new business should. I spoke with the GM during my visit today and he confirmed this was in fact the case. We also spoke for a good amount of time about pizza in general. Having worked in pizza myself for most of my youth, I can say that this GM DOES know what he's doing and knows good pizza.

My Review: I called ahead of time and asked about carryout options and the person answering the phone was very friendly and knowledgeable. I arrived in the store and it was clean and well kept. There was limited seating available as they told me over the phone that they were primarily a Carryout/Delivery option, but I still managed to sit down inside and have a bite of my food before I left so I could sample it as it was hot. The cashier even applied a special pizza coupon to my pizza without me having asked for it for the sake of saving me a few bucks, which is always appreciated!

-The cheese bread came with both sauce and ranch(good call!). The sauce was rich with flavor and thick enough to make for a good marinara and the cheese and seasoning on the cheese sticks went very well with one another.

-I ordered a 10" All Meat pizza and it was extremely tasty. The meats had a great quality to them and the cheese had a great flavor as well and finally, the meat/cheese ratio was spot on. I got the Romesan Crust topping and it definitely enhanced the crust. I'm not typically a person to eat crust, but this crust with a crust topper on it was delicious and perfectly crispy/chewy.

Overall, I'll certainly be back.. Which is why this place earns 5 stars from me.

Disclaimer I don't work here or know anyone that does, I just felt this place needed a more in depth look into their establishment after they had been fully opened. I'm not disappointed and I don't think others...

Tonight I ordered a pizza and was hoping to get to join my dinner however, after waiting for my pizza to be delivered, I opened it to find this. In the picture you will see that roughly 70% of the pizza does not even have toppings on it nor does it have sauce. I called directly to the store to try and get them to have a chance to make this right, the young girl that answered the phone said that she was the shift leader, and basically that I was out of luck since DoorDash delivered it. However, the pizza box was sealed by the store, and the seal was not broken. Therefore, this should have been caught well before it left the kitchen. So now I have to argue with a third-party delivery company because a cook and shift lead Let this pizza leave the store. This is a waste of money and hopefully management at the store can make it right since the shift...

Take it from two foodies and tough critics when it comes to pizza, this place makes a great pie. I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews. We called in our order for pick up and the customer service was spot on and thorough. Now, onto the pie. Folks, the pizza here is outstanding! We ordered the thin crust with old world pepperoni and pineapple and it was a 10! It was super thin and crispy (ask for "well done"...trust me, it's a choice on their menu and gets the pizza super crispy) and the old world pepperoni had a TON of flavor (they also have a traditional pepperoni but we opted for the old world style). We also ordered a Greek salad that was the perfect pairing with the pizza. It was loaded with all the goods (tomatoes, feta, olives, onions, peppers, etc). Highly recommend this spot. I'll definitely make this a regular...
