Hardee’s — Restaurant in Rocky Mount

We stopped here for breakfast, they took our order: one chicken biscuit and one egg biscuit. It was correctly repeated back to us. We paid at the pay window, the girl was courteous. We got to the pick up window, the server passed us the package, she didn't say thank you, have a good day, enjoy your food or anything, just handed the bag to us while turning to walk off. We checked and had only one biscuit in the bag (note the "double checked for accuracy" sticker on the bag). We went back to the pick up window, a different girl passed a bag to us (mumbling her dislike for her job, I guess), she didn't say thank you, have a good day, enjoy your food or anything. Now, I had checked the other bag and clearly saw egg in that one, I didn't see anything else. (double checked for accuracy) We came from a good distance so I did not want to completely open the biscuit wrapper there because I did not want my biscuit to get cold or have it crumble in the car. We got home and lo and behold! I had a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit which I hate and did not order, the bacon and cheese were sliding out of the end that I couldn't see when I first checked the bag. Don't tell me your employees put that "double checked for accuracy" sticker on that bag by accident because I won't believe it!! I gave one star because my husband said the chicken sandwich was good. I watched him eat his breakfast while thinking about how really good this Hardee's used to be. We won't be going back to this one, they need to train their bagging employees how to double check for accuracy and while they're at it, they should train their pick up window employees some...

I went to this Hardee's on sunset beside Harris teeter gas station. I went through drive thru,ordered a milkshake, no whip cream. No customers were there at the time, but the lady took my $ and had me drive to the blue sign & someone would bring to me. ?? So waited 5 minutes at least there, and at least 2 cars I came and gone behind me through the drive-thru and no one else was waiting. So I put my car in park and I went in and the girl was standing there with my milkshake with a pile of whipped cream on it slowly handing it to me over the counter I said no that's okay I don't want any I asked for no whip cream I just want my money back meanwhile they're all about 18 million flies flying around in there. So I got the money back from the manager who never made eye contact you said he was sorry but it was more like a robot sorry didn't even ask me what was wrong. Not going back there...the flies in there helped me make that decision! The Lord said Donna, something is not right with this, get your money and go...

I can only describe getting breakfast at Hardee's. The restaurant is not overly convenient for me at any other time. But that's all good as the breakfast offerings are worth the slight out of the way drive. Though there are offerings with buns, or toasted bread available, Hardee's main offerings are biscuits. From the simple country ham or sausage biscuit sandwiches to bacon, egg, and cheese, or loaded omelette sandwich, the biscuits are the bomb. Always and amazingly done to perfection, these true southern style biscuits make the Hardee's breakfast sandwiches very enjoyable. Especially even more so now that Hardee's has brought back their signature cinnamon raisin biscuit. A great sweet treat. So, there you have it. Stop for breakfast at Hardee's and tell them Dr. Rad Dan highly recommended...
