Christine santos. I never email anyone but I am extremely disturbed about how this hotel is being run and how things are being allowed. From the day of check in we had issues. The worker the next mrn argued w My daughter because we didn't have a pet agreement in place they said but I myself saw the paper at check in and did it. After that she made my daughter who is twelve sign paperwork saying she would give then a 75 deposit. Now how could she do that she's 13. That's not legal second issue when I confronted lady from phone she was rude and hung up on me third issue kids were eating breakfast and one of the workers was complaining to guests how my kids ate all the pancake mix and was not lea Leaving anything for others. This is crazy. Rooms were dirty. Public hair in my daughters shower. Fridge in room 205 dirty shower dirty toilet dirty .....shower curtain broke in 205 they said the maintenance person that they knew it was broke that the construction people were rushing to get thr Job done and did a bad job. Well the curtain ended up falling on my daughter sitting on the floor near it and now her chest is all bruised. Unacceptable. I accident closed my door left my key in the room and went downstairs to get a new key and the lady working had a attitude because I asked her to replace my key. We had ten people and two dogs checking in the first day they put us in three king bed rooms my kids and brothers were sleeping on floors. Took them four days to move us and at that point the second day we left my brothers and son and dogs hone there was no space......I hope I am not being charged for a pet deposit as I had to take the dogs home the next morning.....there was a creepy man at the pool that kept staring at the girls and bothering them asking personal questions asking what room they were in this was beyond Unacceptable. The woman working that boring I found out is the managers daughter. She thinks it's ok to bring babies to work with her then lock her alone in the office while she is on the other part of the hotel playing on her phone and the baby was texting to open the door and get out. Why is this acceptable. If they baby fell or touched something and got hurt that's crazy. The managers daughter shouldn't have kids if thsts how she thinks it's ok to bring them to work and not care about their safety and we'll being. I am a diamond member and I am horrified at the service at this hotel and the owner needs to get involved and train then people and fix things before people...
Read moreThis is my first stay at a Tru by Hilton hotel. Being one of Hilton's brand, I can earn points through the Hilton Honors program, and the hotel offers complimentary breakfast. While Tru's room layout is similar to those of the Hampton Inns I had stayed at, what sets it apart is the decor. It screams "post modern" from its architecture, the room's table lamps and standing lamps - with adjustable brightness - outdoor lounge area, and indoor and breakfast areas. Instead of bar soaps for the bathrooms, there are dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body and hand soaps. The shower stall has a step to place my feet when bending down to wash them. Two choices of blinds are provided for either opaque or translucent covering of windows. There is an Elkay water dispenser next to a gym on the first floor, and an outdoor lounging area.||But there are few quibbles. In my double queen room, one of the queen beds has a narrow separation distance from the air-conditioner, causing my leg to hit the corner of the bed every time I went to adjust the blinds. The bed pillows were the same level of a bit too thin, so I used two pillows to sleep and it worked out great. The room does not have a microwave oven. None of the waste baskets - one in the room and the other in the bathroom - are not lined with bin bags. (Hampton Inn lined the waste baskets in their rooms with bin bags.) I didn't like that the gym is located right by the elevator. (I do not want to watch people work out after a long day of travel.) The breakfast was decent enough if you like pancakes. If not, there are oats, different brands of cereals, bagels, sausage patties, scrambled eggs. Not as much of assortments as a Hampton Inn.||Overall, service was good. Despite many big-screen TVs turned on, the breakfast environment was reasonably quiet. The hotel are many side entrances - I counted at least three - for ease of access. However, if your room windows face the rear of the hotel, you won't be able to see your car in the parking lot. If I were to return, I'd probably try out the Hampton Inn nearby before deciding to...
