Morning Addiction Coffeehouse — Restaurant in Rocky Mount

Visiting family here & saw this coffee shop by accident since i had become lost after leaving the hospital annex. Pulled into their parking lot to get my bearings. Then decided to check it out & prehaps have some coffee too! Since it was unseasonably warm (& without thinking things thru) i opted for coffee on ice but was kindly informed that would result in a warm & diluted down beverage. Very friendly people was the first thing I noticed. As I waited for my coffees I listened to some local guys chatting. It was a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. But the thing that put this over the top was the extra touches added to the order. A chocolate covered espresso bean neatly pinned to the lid, lid stoppers and careful attention to the product. Went here this morning for two cups of coffee. The coffee was delicious. Staff is super friendly. Owner was asking about what my family and I were in the area for (wedding) and I stated my wife and babies traveled from up north. When she asked about the ages of my babies, she proceeded to make my oldest a whipped cream cup with a piece of chocolate and chocolate sauce. It was a very sweet thing to do.
