BRAND NEW JAPANESE RESTAURANT IN ROCKY MOUNT VIRGINIA! Filet Mignon w/ Shrimp Hiabatchi & Cheese Wonton App. First off, literally the MOST TENDER steak I've ever had. Melted in your mouth & I don't even remember chewing!😆 Sincerely, I was blown away. The shrimp was perfect. The portions are big! So... Many... Wontons!!! Everything was definitely delicious. 😋 The young lady running the counter was definitely very busy but remained kind & efficient taking dine in orders at the counter, to go orders on the phone, running the register, filling Togo orders at the counter, & running the food from the kitchen to the patrons dining in. 🤔 Absolutely not complaining, again she was very kind just very busy which is a good thing in my opinion! This leads me to my only suggestions. Food this good deserves real plates, utensils, and definitely more front of house staff for your dine in guest. A couple servers would clear up your counter for Togo orders and improve guest experience & overall atmosphere. 😁 You have a great thing going, and I really hope you succeed and continue to grow. I've ordered here when they first opened and received excellent food and excellent customer service. I ordered today and received RAW beef. I ordered medium rare, so I understand the meat will be a reddish pink, however, this is blue. This is less than rare; almost raw. I'm shocked and disappointed. You could tell it's raw before cutting into it, but cutting into it proves it further. Will all due respect, I'm not trying to get a foodborne illness nor is anybody else. :( I was looking forward to eating it until I noticed this. No wonder why it was so tough to chew. Friendly service, but took 15 minutes longer than expected. This was our first time ordering from here. We ordered a large to-go order of 7 teriyaki chicken trays. Only 3 stars because the chicken was overcooked (had a hard exterior texture, and was kinda tough to chew, but not horrible. It was dark meat, which IMO, is really difficult to overcook.) We would like to try it again, as every other aspect was great! We loved the zucchini and onion and the teriyaki sauce was delicious. Also like the fact there is no MSG and less oil.
