Workout Anytime Rocky Mount — Local services in Rocky Mount

I was a member here for a year (average 5x a week) before moving out of the area. With Rocky Mount being slim pickings for gyms... Workout Anytime definitely comes out on top for best gym in the area and those surrounding. Staff is always kind and incredibly helpful. Equipment is clean and organized. The management team listens to suggestions from members to enhance their experience with new layouts, new equipment, and the ladies room is always stocked with feminine products. I cannot say enough positive things about the staff and management at this facility... 10/10!!

The only reason I gave 4 stars is no fault of staff, but because of the 3:30-6pm crowd. The policy on teenagers/children over 10 without adults is nonexistent and quite overwhelming after the local high school gets released. I found myself waiting, and having to constantly clean up after groups of 5-8 kids were done taking turns on a machine. Along with the overwhelming and crowding presence, it is a bit loud and difficult to focus with that many kids in a small gym. I learned to work around it but I wish I would've had a warning.

Love the gym love the equipment love the people this has been my peace place for 3 years now couldn’t say enough good things about the gym. The two things I don’t necessarily love about the gym is the fact ive seen people that just started attending the gym this year featured in workout videos on the facebook page meanwhile people that have stayed committed for years are not getting shown at all for how hard they have worked and the only other thing I have that I dont love is the lady that brings her 5+ kids in the gym and the gym allows all these kids to come in with her and they hog every machine that I want to do, she will be on one machine send her kid on another machine so she can workout on one then switch to the machine the kid is on. I would much rather this gym be a kid free facility. I get some people don’t have sitters but bringing 5 kids in a gym when people come here to grind is excessive. I also wish there was another smith machine because I have came and pulled 2 hour workouts trying to get on the machine and people hog it one after another and its hard to get on. My insurance pays for my membership to keep me more fit and healthy. Check your insurance company to see if they participate. I only excercise about twice a week, but I tell myself that it was more than I did yesterday. I like going to the Rocky Mount facility. They have so many machines for you to workout on, the hydro massage chair and 3 tanning rooms. No one makes me feel uncomfortable.
