Went last night, had special offer for southwest eggrolls as appetizer choice for no charge with 3 for 10 offer. Wife got 3 for 10 also and did the presidente margarita instead of soft drink for $5 upcharge. When I paid, noticed that I was charged $4 upcharge for eggrolls even though my special offer said eggrolls were a free upgrade. Got that corrected, paid and left. Today, looking at receipt in my email, noticed wife was charged $7.99 for her margarita. Server put water down as drink choice and charged $7.99 for presidente margarita that was supposed to be only $5 upcharge. I should have caught that mistake before I paid as well. IF i return to this location, I will make sure I double check every item on the bill before I pay.
Another day, another issue. Today is August 18th, 2022, National Fajita Day. I would not have known that but I got an email from Chili's informing me that today was National Fajita Day and Chili's would be offering mix and match fajitas (pick two from chicken, beef, or shrimp) for only $11.99. I also had a free birthday dessert waiting for me to claim. So I asked the Mrs if she wanted to go get fajitas for supper. When we arrived, no one in sight at the front desk. After several minutes, a woman came meandering out of the kitchen, walked right by us and went to talk to a server about something, and then finally turned to us. We were then seated. A very sweet server came to wait on us. We ordered two of the margarita of the month and while she was at the table, also showed her, from the email on my phone, that we wanted the mix and match special for National Fajita Day. She looked confused and went and got a man I presume was the "manager on duty." He came, looked at my phone and said he didn't know anything about it; his words to our server were "he (whoever "he" is) didn't say anything about it." So I said, "So you aren't doing this special at this Chili's?" He said no; we said cancel the drink order, we'll eat elsewhere. We went across the street to On The Border, were seated immediately, had a great server and their National Fajita Day fajitas were only $10.99.
Chili's corporate, don't send out emails about specials if your "management" in restaurants has no idea what is going on, even after showing them the email on my phone which you sent out today.
Next time, we'll skip Chili's and head straight to...
Read moreI will preface this with saying that normally this Chili’s is on point, and this is the first time I have had an issue. However the whole night was a disaster.
I placed an order online to pick-up. The format has changed, and there is no longer an area for special request (ie: allergy issues). Once I finished my order, I immediately called to add my special request. When the woman answered the call all she said was “Chili’s” and put me directly on hold. Well, I was on hold for 10 minutes and 3 seconds. I was ready to hang up when she answered. She was very rude on the phone, with a tone that implied I was bothering her. She got even more upset when I said I just wanted no pico de gio on my quesadilla, as I am allergic to onions.
When I arrived to get my order 10 minutes later, I was told it would be an additional 15 minutes because my order was already done when I called, and they had to remake it. So, it was taking longer to remake without garnish then it did the first time.
Finally my order was delivered to me, minus my drink. I walk in with my order pulled up on my phone, and politely say that I was supposed to have a drink with my order. I get screeched at that it wasn’t on the ticket, and asked what it was. I replied I had a blackberry ice tea, and someone proceeds to go make me iced tea. I take it to my car and go home. Once home, I realize I was given regular tea.
Frustrated at the disaster of a order, I call the restaurant again. This time I am put on hold for 15 minutes and 34 seconds. At this point, I hung up. It was horrible, and while I won’t give up on Chili’s, I won’t be ordering...
Read moreThis was the 2nd time coming to this location. Very disappointing. Both times when I've ordered the crispy chicken on my salad, the chicken was cold and not thawed out completely. The lettuce was wilted to the point of brown at the bottom layer.
We also ordered the Texas cheese fries. These were overcooked. My husband also burned his hand on the skillet. Normally, he can handle hot items without a problem. He is a mechanic and has worked with hot stuff. The server (not the waitress who helped us, did not warn about the temp of the skillet). I ordered the side house salad. I was asked if I wanted to add chicken to it and I said yes. I probably should have asked the cost, because they didn't say how much. It turned out the side house salad with chicken costs more than the full house salad with chicken.
I did give 2 stars for food because my husband's meal was alright.
Unfortunately, this is the only nearby Chili's, so we won't be going there anymore. We were frequent patrons to the ones in Wichita and were always happy with the food.
Macy was our waitress and she was attentive, friendly and tried to help, but the manager only let her adjust the price to the full...
