I haven't eaten at Napoli's in several years; this is my first time eating at this specific building, as my last time dining with them was before their move.
I was with a party of five, and the server was fantastic during ordering and the meal itself. She was attentive, polite, professional, everything you would want. Conversly, the dish (Baked Ziti) was one of the most disappointing I've ever ordered, considering the price, the claims made on the website, and how good the ziti used to be at the old building. The website says their pastas are handmade in house, and I don't distrust that, but I know frozen pasta when I taste it.
As lackluster as the pasta was, here's my real problem with Napoli's:
I noted on the menu that there would be a 3.99% fee for cards, and a 20% automatic gratuity for take out orders and parties of 10 or up (or maybe 8 or up). Both are fair policies, but there seems to be some unlisted policies at play as well.
The check i received included the subtotal of the two dishes, the taxes due, and the resulting total for either cash and card payments. When the booklet and my card were returned, the listed charge on the receipt needing my signature was about 18% higher than the previously listed post-tax card-total. I checked over both the ticket I needed to sign and the first ticket with the subtotals several times, and could only conclude that the discrepancy was some kind of automatic gratuity that was neither advertised on the menu nor explained by the server when she took my payment. (I had planned to leave a cash tip, but kept it since the tip was already put on my card for whatever, frustratingly unexplained reason.)
Given the drop in quality from how this restaurant used to be, the subpar meal, and the unexplained discrepancy between what my ticket said I owed and what I was actually charged, I will not return and can not recommend anyone...
Read moreAfter our negative experience with Renzo's in Fayetteville (see my review), Napoli's Italian Restaurant saved our anniversary celebration by truly exceeding our expectations and leaving us with a remarkable dining experience. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The exceptional service provided by the staff was truly commendable.
The food at Napoli's was an absolute delight. Every dish we ordered was prepared with utmost care and attention to detail. The flavors were rich, authentic, and reminiscent of traditional Italian cuisine. From the perfectly cooked pasta to the mouthwatering sauces, every bite was a true indulgence for our taste buds. The quality of ingredients used was evident, and it truly elevated our overall dining experience.
What impressed us the most was the professionalism displayed by the entire team at Napoli's. Our wait person (Maria A.) was a true delight--very personable and knowledgeable about the menu, readily offering recommendations and accommodating special dietary requests. She anticipated our needs, ensuring that our glasses were never empty and that we felt well taken care of throughout our visit. The attention to detail and genuine passion for customer satisfaction was truly remarkable.
Napoli's Italian Restaurant is a gem that deserves recognition for their exceptional service, outstanding food quality, inviting ambiance, and professional approach. We left the restaurant with smiles on our faces, satisfied palates, and wonderful memories.
Whether you're craving authentic Italian cuisine or seeking a memorable dining experience, Napoli's is a must-visit destination when you are in...
Read moreCharge you extra for alot if things now that the use to not up charge for now the restaurant moved. Really sad when you are up charged for more than one very tiny bowl of oil for four people (Rediculus ). Now charge for salad as well. Then we went just for Mother’s Day to order one of our favorite dishes with a specific sauce. But Was very sadden that they had a very limited menu for Mother’s Day of all days with that dish not on the menu. When my daughter asked to just put that Sauce on a dish as an option she was told it would be up charged to just add that sauce. Again rediculus. That sauce was on only one dish and she was allergic to the bell peppers. So she just asked if they could just put that sauce on a dish without the bell peppers. Surprised they didn’t up charge for the rolls as well. The waiter kept saying when we asked for that sauce that it was not his doing for the up charge ( tells me alot of others have complained) even though we never complained at all and was very supportive of his struggles that day with alot of mistakes. Like forgetting my up charged salad, forgetting the up charged sauce. However, he made the experience better because he was truly trying and we did not want him to feel bad. We all have bad days and he was very sweet. So if you have returned the owner is either trying to make a killing or pay for his new elaborate building. Won’t go back because I felt cheated for what we actually received. The prices on the dishes were Also increased on top of all the things up charged. I’ve made only two bad reviews in my life and this if...
