OMG...every place was closed on the last holiday of the summer BUT NOT Paisono's Kitchen! My husband and I drove from Grants Pass to Rogue River remembering a friend had mentioned Paisona's. We have never experienced a more pleasant surprise a more delicious meal anywhere in Oregon! The service was personal, as if a friend was setting our table. The food fresh, as in made that day or the cheese the day before. Fresh tomatoes and greens in what is a true salad. My husband, an Italian has not tasted such food since he lived back east. It was an orgasmic treat. No fake fillers, all organic. Small and quaint but true to food as it should be. We did not want to leave. we ordered desert for the first time EVER and we were not disappointed. Our belly's full, we drove home slowly with a smile on our faces sure to return again and to those we love we shall share this most old tyme pleasant experience. Thank you to the Family run restaurant and take out. We were more than pleased. Thank you, thank you!!!!! Will never find the words to express how...
Read moreI’m Italian and learned to cook from my grandmother back in the ole country therefor I’m a tough grader . I was hesitant to go there due to it looked to be a deli and not a restaurant. But it had good reviews so I brought over famiglia I came to visit . Now one thing that Italian restaurants in the USA get wrong is the Alfredo sauce! Back home it’s just butter, pecorino, and some pasta water that’s it . Here in the USA they make it into a gravy like thick glob. But I expected it therefore I proceeded with ordering and the food was solid . It was better than I expected tbh Better than Olive Garden definitely lol . It’s a good place especially for its location. The Chianti we had was good . A few suggestions would be to go easy on the sauce with the lasagna ravioli etc and throw some pecorino into the dishes. I would go back and try...
Read moreThe restaurant is beautiful and has a fancy environment that makes you feel like its going to be a good experience. However the food doesn't meet the value of the prices. I ended up paying $43 for two pasta to go boxes... it was $7 extra for chicken in one box and $7 extra for veggies in the other pasta box. There wasn't very much chicken in the whole pasta box, and the veggies in the other pasta box were under cooked. The green beans were still tough and the the broccoli wasn't cooked all the way either. I would not recommend paying an extra $7 each for chicken or veggies. All in all, I was disappointed in the price to compensation ratio. No offense, good people and nice atmosphere, but at the end of the day, I go to restaurants to...
