This chipotle has always been the worst and it sucks it's the only one within a 5mile radius of my house. So I can't "just go to another one."
TL;DR :: Chipotle needs to invest more time and money into their Hiring practices, talent acquisition and Learning & Development because they just hiring anybody and not training them right at all. This causes slow lines, improperly prepped food and apathetic employees.
Review :: It's the employees every time. A bunch of apathetic kids with a few adults who couldn't care less about who comes through their door. I have seen it all at this location, from significant uneven food portions, to employees wrapping a burrito, burrito bursting and then just wrapping it in foil. "Your problem now" mentality. I waited 35mins to get 1 bowl today cause there was only 1 person on the line, 1 person on the register, just staring and waiting for someone to get rung up, and 2-3 people in the back, 1 on his phone, sipping a soda, another 2 talking while they just wait for the food to cook. This wouldn't be an issue if it happened just once or twice. But I have been going to this place since it opened, and it's been ridiculously ran since then. Always food out, always rude employees who work at their own pace and always a significant wait. Chipotle, get it together. I doubt y'all are having any money issues that would prvent you from training and investing (paying) your workers more so they might just care a little bit more about their job. Now today I come for the employee you tell me a 30 min wait on chicken. So I come back for a different person to say she can't take my order because they are only doing online orders! Sooo what about the other customers that walk in?? I guess we are nobody right! Funny how thre were at least 5 customers sitting in there eating. How did they get their order?? Funny how all the bkack people were told they couldn't make their order!🤔🤔🤔 So I asked to speak with a manager and the employee begins to yell the managers name! Why she mad?? I'm the one who's not getting any food!! They need to get some employees who know how to treat customers and no how to handle situations like these. Also, more employees PERIOD! It doesn't take six employees to work on online orders! They need to have extra ingredients for back up! No sympathy for paying customer and no apologies for the inconvenience nor was offered to correct the wrong food. The lady who answered the phone had attitude and basically said then bring it!!
Manager was busy so this lady didn’t know what should have been done but there is no way you’d say manager will give call back in few hours when someone is hungry. Bad customer service. She could not attend the service when I brought up to her and made someone else handle it. So much attitude on phone but yet no courage to deal with customers issue.
The other lady who helped us was very sweet and corrected the order within minutes. That’s what I call a customer service. She apologized, gave us another order and provided large fountain drink for the inconvenience.
TLDR: don’t be rude to customer who is calling to get fixed. Manager is busy, okay you can help me too. Be considerate why customer is calling. Not everyone wants trouble. We paid for food, we want right treatment...
