The customer service and food/ food prep here is just too inconsistent for more than a 3 star review. We’ve ordered several times from this store for the convenience and different taste (from other nearby pizza places)... So, inconsistencies include: order readiness, food quality, attitude of staff. **The comment about the meatballs being “so Italian”: 🙄 no. They’re not. Even the lasagna didn’t seem fresh- tasted like the lasagna frozen at the grocery store. **Don’t order the calzones. They offer to put traditional or a “special” sauce inside- not a calzone at that point. It should just come with the marinara sauce on the side. Also, the calzones aren’t sealed well enough- the seam easily comes apart and the oil leaks out. Gross and messy. -> Order readiness: usually ready 0-10 minutes after quoted time. Order more than two pizzas with notice? You could wait more than 20 minutes. -> Food quality: I once ordered a garlic bread. After leaving the store and getting home, I opened the bread to find that there was no garlic, butter, and Parmesan. We once ordered green peppers and meat on our pizza- by the way the toppings fell off, we could tell that the toppings (aside from the sauce and cheese) were added *after* the pizza baked. You will also see that from this current order, the pizza doesn’t fit into the box- it’s actually curved up. There’s also a good inch between the cheese and edge of the sauce part on my piece of pizza- the rest of the pizza looks pretty normal. -> Frankly, the staff is rude. There has been one, maybe two redeeming instances where the cashier tried to be friendly or at least use polite words.

My husband and I have been ordering from Pietro's about once a month for the last 3 years, since we moved to the Roscoe area. Overall we like the taste, since it seems unique. We order the pizza with half no cheese and normally have no issues. However, this particular time for some reason the cheese was slid to one side. In my experience this is typically because someone, either at the store or in the car for delivery, had the pizza tilted too much. My husband called just to give an FYI that maybe they should talk to their driver to avoid this issue in the future. He was told, "thanks for letting us know, but that happens sometimes when you order a pizza with half no cheese". Pretty annoyed that even though he didn't call to ask for a new pizza or anything but rather just to make a statement, and they felt the need to turn the situation around and say it was our fault the cheese slid to one side. Simply saying, "thanks for letting us know we'll talk to the driver", would have been better than blaming the customer.

The best pizza! Made fresh to order, with quality ingredients. Every style of crust is good, and the sauce and cheese are also delicious, making any pizza you order from here amazing! The sausage is really good - that is my go-to order. Order ahead and the pick up is quick! I no longer live in the area, and this is probably the #1 restaurant I miss.

Our family trusted Pietros Pizza for years. The pizza crust, sauce and ingredients had been consistently fresh, assembled and cooked expertly, and delivered hot and timely. And service via pickup/take out counter, or when ordering by phone was fast and friendly...and family-oriented.

But the last couple of years have been rough. And nothing is consistent anymore, least of all the Customer Service and Management. The young people working the phones and pickup/take out counter are destroying the business altogether. The high-school'ish rudeness and attitude, and inability to manage a busy counter is showing signs of stress. And what's worse, is that Management/Owners don't appear to have experience or an understanding that just making good pizza isn't enough to keep people coming back. Management/Owners themselves don't get it. "A fish rots from it's head." We've tried to stick with it, but it's just not improved.

As for the pizza, we've had deliveries, and take out orders on multiple occasions with burnt crust and raw dough. And it's now the case that ingredients no longer taste fresh, and the sauce is inconsistent. The pizza isn't even cut properly and increasingly greasy...ever tried to pickup a piece and have everything slide off the top leaving only the crust and sauce? Delivery times are also lagging. It's really a shame, because Pietros has a good following. But these issues will catchup to them,...

Pietro's by far was my favorite pizza place around the Roscoe area unfortunately yesterday's experience has pushed me off edge. I ordered my food at 5pm and I was told my pizza would be ready for pick up in 45 min and so I called once more time just to make sure my order was ready as the waiting area is very small and I just wanted to go in and out with my order, the girl assured me my pizza was done and ready, well I arrived paid my order according to the lady who attended me I had ordered an extra large cheese pizza when I absolutely said extra large sausage. She told me I was wrong giving me lots of attitude and moments later shows me a different receipt saying I actually had ordered an extra large sausage knowing she was wrong you'd think I would have gotten an apology nope. As I waited for my food the two high school aged looking gals continued to role their eyes at me which made me feel very uncomfortable, I contemplated getting a refund and going else where but decided to wait it out, well I did not receive my pizza until 6:30 one hour and thirty minutes later. For the girls in the front if you know you are busy do not tell your customers their dinner will be ready in 45 min and give incorrect information about an order being done this is how you will tarnish a business. Sad to say but, my family will no longer be ordering pizza from this...
