I had some art that I wanted to make a tattoo of. A girl I met by chance with some great looking art on her arm told me she had gone to Skin Deep. I went here to get a tattoo as a walk-in. I spoke with two friendly women at the front area. I showed them my art for the tattoo and they both agreed that Eric Anderson should be the one to tattoo me. However, he wasn't at the shop so one called him and he agreed to come in. My wife and I waited in a nice area with a screen that showcased the talent of the people that work here. Not only are there tattoo artists and piercers, they have make-up artists too. What I saw confirmed for me what I had inferred from their website, the people that work here have talent and a desire to do only the best work! After I showed Eric what I wanted and where on my body, he was patient and non critical in helping me decide the best size and placement of the tattoo. Eric did offer me his opinion which I am thankful for because my knowledge in this area is nil and helped considerably towards my overall appreciation for the final product. When the work began I was amazed at how relatively pain free the experience was given that I was being poked repeatedly with a needle. When Eric had gotten the art that I brought in on my arm I was stoked with how well it looked. However, that is when Eric began to use his skills as an artist to give my picture that extra that makes it phenomenal! My experience was beyond great and my belief is that yours...

My boyfriend and I came in for Friday the 13th flash tattoos… while we were waiting I decided to get a piercing also. Our experience was awesome! It was a bit of a wait because they were packed with walk ins for the flash deals, but the environment in the studio is a total vibe. Everyone there is friendly and I felt completely comfortable there to just be myself. Cass is awesome, Krystal is awesome, Cody is awesome… Krystal did my septum piercing and was very patient and compassionate with me—it friggin hurt! She took it slow and readjusted until I was comfortable… As for our tattoos, we got them done by Cody and you can tell he really knows what he’s doing. Explained different techniques to us and told us a little about our other tattoos and made recommendations for touch ups. He’s super friendly and we vibed with his personality really well. He’s also really on top of things!! With how busy they were, he was rocking and rolling keeping things moving, and quality and service were never compromised. My second experience here was for a tattoo. The tattooer was Coty & he was beyond excellent. He was professional, compassionate & fun. Made me feel comfortable & took my tattoo prompt & transformed it beyond my expectation 10/10.

As stated in my previous review this place has a sense of family that makes you feel included which I appreciate deeply.

Everyone there genuinely wishes to help others heal thru the art of body modification by whatever means & it shows.

My first experience here was beyond excellent. I truly felt seen, appreciated, cared for & respected. As a queer individual it's extra important to feel safe in these type of spaces & I felt such a sense of family and warmth from the staff & even the customers in the store.
