LOCATION.... On a busy main road. There are several steps up to enter the pizzeria. Near exits/entrances to the parkway. A Wawa and Quick Check are located across the street.
PARKING..... There is NO Parking Lot!! Street Parking ONLY!!! The lot you see belongs to the pub and has signs stating so.
FOOD.... The menu is expansive. So many options to choose from! We always go for the personal pizzas, which are ONLY AVAILABLE on Wednesday and Thursday.
In general, the pizzas were amazing. The crust is thin and crispy. They don't skimp on the cheese or toppings and they are a nice size.
The Hawaiian... The ham was not salty. The pineapples were not to sweet or bitter. Overall, a great tasting Hawaiian.
The Crazy Italian Margherita.... Vodka sauce with mozzarella sticks. The sauce is not to thick or creamy, just perfect for a pizza. Just not enough cheese to balance with the sauce.
The Bruschetta.... Diced tomatoes and red onions on a cheese pizza with a drizzle of balsamic glaze and garnished with chopped basil. With all those delicious toppings, the cheese was lacking.
We will continue to patronize this amazing establishment.
SERVICE.... Service was good. When ordering online for pick-up, they called to let us know our order was ready early.
DINE-IN.... You must call to make dine-in reservations. This location is small and has few tables. (COVID Precautions)
PRICE.... A little expensive. 2 personal pizzas, a water and a Snapple were $30 + tax 3 personal pizzas were $35 + tax
Sit back, relax, and get ready for an AMAZING review. I became very interested in this place after seeing the videos on TikTok... kudos to the person who came up with this idea. With COVID restrictions in place, my family started to get cabin fever so we needed to go for a nice long drive. We drove from Queens to Roselle Park (about an hour drive) and we were not disappointed. This is probably one of the best specialty pizza I have ever had. We ordered the triple threat, the penne alla vodka pizza with breaded chicken and stuffed crust, and a buffalo chicken pizza with garlic knot crust and ranch drizzle. While all the pizzas were great, the calzone in the triple threat was phenomenal.
I've read some of the other reviews and yes, depending on what you order it could get pricey. Order a regular pizza and the price is comparable to other pizza places. But I'm telling you, you want the EXTRA. Having made pizza in the past... these pizzas are not easy to make... so you got to pay for the extra time to makes these pies.
I thought the customer service was great here. Staff member called me to let me know my order was ready. As soon as I pulled out front, a staff member came outside to greet me. The owner came out to have me try the new Big Mac Pizza... which was very good btw.
Tips for winning @ Joes: Order online, there are so many options to customize your pizza, play with the user friendly ordering system to get the best pizza Unless you live close by, dont order one pie... order multiple. Grab some friends and divide and conquer. Do not eat anything before Joe's. Save the space for...
Read moreIt was my first time trying this place out, since I found this pizzeria not from Instagram but from a food blogger ( go figure lol) I so wanted to try the OG triple threat with some friends and talked with the staff about some recommendation size. We got a regular , pepperoni garlic knot calzone , starting at $27. Which fed about 3-4 people easy. We were there for so long, but thank goodness the staff were nice about it. We over tip them for since of the mishap. So service, is super friendly. The owner, I'm guessing is the on behind the counter making the pizzas, was asking how we knew about the place, which I was the only one who recommended it with a stone age social media account Haha. They dont have the pizza on their menu, so you have to show a picture of it from Google or Instagram. I ordered pizza fries to go along with it, and it was a good appetizer. Mozzarella, sauce, basil, and parmesan cheese(I think ) sprinkled on top made it taste so good! On to the pizza- let them being it to you so you aren't liable of dropping it. It's heavy. It was a 3 in 1 pie!! With marinara sauce on the side. Loads of gooey cheese and pepperoni stuffed in between the calzone. Pepperoni literally everywhere on the pizza. Garlic knots was buttery and garlicky, I was able to pick it off separately lol. Of course there was oil dripping too, but for an experience to try out so worth it. Overall, place is somewhere I would come back, just not everyday for a triple threat Haha . Service is super nice, it can get busy on a late Friday afternoon dining it but it has its own...
