Lidios Cafe & Flowers — Restaurant in Roselle Park

I will not be going back to this place. First off their customer service is terrible. We had to sit there waiting to order because the girl working the register was flirting with a guy just standing there, not ordering food, not waiting for food, just talking. I could care leas but attend to your customers when they come in. Secondly she didn’t ask if we were staying or to go, she didn’t ask if we wanted our pasties warmed up, she was rushing through our order to get back to her conversation. When l heard a microwave beeping l went up & saw her heating everything up in a microwave. I get not everybody cares about their health, but l do & an establishment that serves customers should take into consideration what people want. If she asked if l wanted my food heated up, l could’ve told her only if it isn’t a microwave. So when l told her l don’t want my food heated up that way, she rolled her, didn’t apologize & just walked away to get a new one. If the food & coffee was delicious l could deal with this cause l can explain what l want for the future. But the coffee was watered down & sour, which isn’t what l’m going for in coffee. Lidios is a 15-20 minute drive for us, and we pass many other coffee shops along the way. However, we make the trip because it's by far the best coffee around. When we go to other artisan coffee shops, the "large" is a few mouthfuls of coffee, and anything with a flavor tastes artificial at best. Not at Lidios. The large is a generous size that leaves us satisfied (and awake!), and everything tastes fresh and delicious. Perla, the owner, is so friendly and personable, always makes conversation, and knew our orders by our 2nd or 3rd trip there. I love the vanilla sweet cream and my husband's go-to is the pancake latte. The fall flavors right now are incredible too. And a bonus is that my two-year old loves to go inside to check out the beautiful flowers. My husband and I love coffee, and one of our favorite things to do on the weekends and in the summer is to try different coffee shops, but since finding Lidios, we rarely try other...

Lidios is the only cafe that I get my coffee from. If I am going to spend money on coffee it’s going to be good quality. Their cold brew is the best I’ve had and is 100% worth the price. If you haven’t tried their cold brew with coconut cold foam or salted caramel cold foam, I highly suggest it. Anything I’ve tried from here literally taste like crack. Their pastries and egg salad is amazing as well. The environment is perfect for studying or even meeting with your friends and chatting. The staff is friendly and thoughtful. Ever since Lidios opened no other cafe tops it. They even have a punch card for your drinks and your 9th one is free! Definitely makes your coffee experience more fun :) They also sell beautiful and fresh flowers, they can make almost any arrangement you want & they always come out beautiful.
