First I just want to say I loved this place sooo much and I am super sad this happened and I cannot believe this happened to us. I and my family have been going to this place since it opened. I have noticed over time they haven't been doing good and the food has gotten bad but I kept going there and I kept believing it would get better. Last night I ordered take out and ordered two snow crab rolls, this is my ALL time favorite roll from there. When I got home with our food I opened the roll and grabbed a piece and started eating it. I noticed that the mix in the middle of the roll was NOT crab, it was lobster, shrimp and fish eggs---complete MUSH! and didn't even look like the traditional stuffing of crab that they usually use. I typically am not one to complain and I just deal however, this is fish and they are lucky I didn't have a specific allergy. I am posting this for people who do have allergies, you need to be careful going to this place. I couldn't believe this so I called. The girl at the front has also gotten rude over time and of course right away she said" I talked to the cook he didn't put that in there", insinuating that I am lying to her. That got me more mad, and I told her fine I will bring it there (not even wanting to go back out of my house again) which, I shouldn't have to do that. First of all, why is the cook making sushi? Do you not have a sushi chef there making sushi the correct way? The menu does not say stuffed with lobster fish eggs and shrimp, it says CRAB! I was frustrated on the phone and told her I wanted to speak to a manager, she proceeded to tell me the manager was in a meeting. REALLY?? Every time I go there the manager is walking the floor (we go there a lot)! She said "oh we have a new manager now" OK, so let me talk to him. She wouldn't let me, so I told her forget it I am posting a review online. I was so disgusted at that point, I hung up. Someone called me back, but again I was disgusted, and completely appalled by what just happened and how I was treated I did not answer! This is horrible customer service. I have posted a few pictures below, see for yourself! There are two pictures from 8000 miles over the last year, one was taken while dining in. Two pictures ARE the snow crab roll and look the way the snow crab roll should look. The other 3 pictures are what I got last night and NOT stuffed with crab and do not look like what the snow crab should look. I will never be ordering or going to this place again. plus you didn't give me what it said on the menu. Just horrible! To everyone !!!!    Read moreSo the food is good. If you can get it. This place has lost a loyal local customer forever. Friday was my birthday. All I wanted was their fried rice. My family orders from Asian places often and it's never inexpensive. We spend 50-60-70 dollars each time. It was my birthday, I wanted only one thing, their fried rice. We called at 9:53 pm on Friday (they close at 10:30) was told they stop deliveries at 10 pm. OK so it was almost 10 but not quite. So we said we would come pick it up. Can we get a carry out? Also was told no. They stop taking orders at 10. So I'm pretty disappointed that someone just didn't feel like doing their job. Now hear this 8000 mile! You can never make it up to me because you have LOST my TRUST! I will never call you or eat there again. THANKS for nothing! And here is the kicker. You don't know who I am but I can tell you this. I work in the service industry of all the major restaurant chains around Chicago land. My job is one that keeps restaurants open for business because I repair issues that health inspectors wright up.    Read moreSo my wife and I had dinner this evening. The spicy fried calamari was great, but not spicy but still very good. The sushi and my wifes sesame chicken was delicious. The pad thai was very very bland and barely had any meat and tofu on it. Problem was our waitress, she was very nice in the beginning but disappeared for a good 25 minutes. I had to go to the bar to get a refill on water. I had to actually flag the manager over so let him know the pad thai was not very good and that we haven't seen our waitress for awhile. The manager was wonderful, took the pad thai off the bill and offered dessert but we were too full. Our waitress finally came back with our change and said "anything else?" turned around and left very rudely. We'll be back but will ask for a different waitress if she happens to be working. I don't want to rule out a delicious place that makes fantastic sushi.
