I decided to eat here twice this week because I heard that food was great. I went in the day before yesterday and my burrito was pretty good, however, the female cashier who was working around 3pm wasn't very attentive and acted like I was bothering her because I came in to order. It was my first time there so I was unsure of what to order--which I explained to her, and instead of giving me a suggestion like most respectable food establishments would, she gave me this "figure it out yourself" type of attitude. Whatever, I let it slide thinking she might just be having a bad day. So today (12/20/16) I go back around 730 pm and there's another cashier working. Both of them have long black hair (just in case a manager happens to see this and wants to know who I'm talking about). This cashier was just as rude as the first but worse. She didn't greet me at all. .and when I greeted her she ignored me because she was too busy text messaging. Then after taking my order she pretty much just threw my receipt at me and went right back to what she was doing. I've never seen such horrible customer service. Like ever. It's ashame that the food was good but thanks to both of their attitudes and lack of appreciation for business I will NEVER spend another dollar at this place. They really need some education on common courtesy and hospitality if they're going to be working in a restaurant. Also, after I left I decided to call and speak to management. The girl who was working the cash register answers the phone just as rudely as she was inside the store and goes on to tell me that there was no manager available and that she doesn't know when there will ever be a manager available. I tell her her that I was dissatisfied with the customer service and all she says is "Oh, ok have a good night". I'm still in disbelief of how RUDE these ppl are at this restaurant. I don't even write reviews but I just had to let this be known. Ugh, sorry for the novel, I just needed to get this off my chest. Good food (at least the burrito), worst customer service...
Read moreThis is not the first or second but the third time they have messed up a to go order for me. Yes I know, shame on me. I ordered two burritos a supper burrito wet and a super burrito with no beans, both carne asada. Once I get home I got to eat my “super” burrito with no beans to find it is filled with only steak and beans. Then when I call them the person on the phone, the one who took my order, explains what a super burrito is and what a regular one is. I am Hispanic myself and do not need the explanation especially when I have NEVER ordered a regular burrito for myself my entire life. Then she says “ugh I guess you can come back in and we can give you a super buritto” thanks but no thanks. I will go to the place a little up the road with actual aguas frescas and good customer service. This place is a joke if you are ordering to go. I mean if you want to go back there after you’ve already picked your food up so that they can remake it, argue with you or you waste your time and gas then this is the place for you. Read moreApprears to be racist. From the moment we sat down the staff was pushing to get us out. The cash register clerk was agitated when I was ordering food. There were other tables empty. Other customers unharrassed. We were only there while we actively ate; 20 minutes.
I got up to do a drink refill, and staff came in and took my food and silverware. My wife had them put my food back on the table, but they still took the silverware.
Staff came back again within a couple of minutes of me sitting back down, and tried to clear my uneaten food while I was talking. No asking if I'm finished. Laying their dirty hands from cleaning another empty table, on my basket of food without asking permission first. I had to physically put my hand on the basket to stop them.
Are they trying to spread disease?
I don't need added stress to my meal. I have other choices. I like El Forestero's food and they provide a relaxing...
