UPDATE DUE TO RESPONSE: I did not refuse to pay, I had a gift card you refused to accept from your own website. My mom did not come pay, I did get assistance in paying the bill but I paid my bill. Not that it should matter how the money got in the register 🙄. It's not a false review and I did not cause a scene in the restaurant, I barely even raised my voice to you and the cops never even showed up. Your condescending tone in your reply shows the kind of business you run and what you deem acceptable "customer service"
I came here with a gift card that was sent to me from my friend who purchased it off their website. When clicking the link it shows "their four restaurants". Under the impression that the gift card would work at all locations since the link sent me to the "order online" page with the 4 restaurants I picked Its Sushi. The restaurant had a slight fishy odor to it when walking in. The food was ok, the sushi burritos are not what you'd picture when ordering, they are rice paper, no seaweed and just basically wrapped nagiri. I had a sushi roll that was good, although half way thru i was pulling pin bones out of my mouth. One of the servers who brought our drinks spoke no english and had to have another server come out to see what i wanted because i had asked for sugar and she did not know what i was asking for. After we ate I presented the gift card and was told that it was not for their restaurant and they would not accept it. I showed them how the gift card linked me to the restaurant page with the four options and how I was able to order from any of those options online and she still refused the gift card. She then called the cops on me stating that I refused payment since they would not accept my gift card from their website and refused to comp any part of the bill for the incorrect information on their website. She also refused any form of payment over the phone from anyone attempting to help me in this situation that the restaurant created. After I was able to figure out another method of payment she continued to be extremely rude to us until we left the establishment. I would give zero stars across the board if that were possible. I will never be returning to this restaurant or any of the "sister" restaurants associated with this one nor will I recommend any of...
Read moreUpon stepping into the all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant, I was immediately captivated by its inviting ambiance and welcoming atmosphere. The staff greeted me with warm smiles and guided me to my seat, setting the tone for what would be an extraordinary dining experience.
As a sushi aficionado, I was particularly excited to try their salmon belly, bluefin tuna, and toro. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed! The moment the chef's masterpieces arrived at my table, I knew I was in for a treat. The salmon belly was impeccably tender, boasting a luscious, buttery texture that melted in my mouth. The bluefin tuna was a revelation of flavor, its marbling creating an exceptional balance of richness and freshness. And the toro, oh, the toro! It was the epitome of indulgence, delivering an ethereal taste that lingered on my taste buds, leaving me craving for more.
What truly set this sushi restaurant apart was the uncompromising commitment to freshness. Each piece of sushi felt like it had just been plucked from the sea, with a natural sweetness and vibrancy that spoke to the quality of their ingredients. The fish-to-rice ratio was meticulously balanced, allowing the delicate flavors of the fish to shine through.
Beyond the stellar sushi offerings, the all-you-can-eat concept provided an opportunity to explore a plethora of other delectable dishes. From crispy tempura to savory gyoza and refreshing seaweed salad, the variety was both impressive and satisfying.
As for the price, it was undoubtedly worth every penny. The value for money was exceptional, given the premium quality of the ingredients and the extensive menu selection. The staff was attentive and accommodating, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
In conclusion, my visit to this all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant was an unforgettable journey of taste and indulgence. With its emphasis on superior quality and an array of mouthwatering delights, it stands out as a haven for sushi enthusiasts and food connoisseurs alike. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking a remarkable culinary adventure, this restaurant is a must-visit destination. I can't wait to return and savor those delectable sushi...
Read moreOne of the pleasant surprises from our Sacramento trip!
Our family lives in Sawtelle, a Japanese town in West LA, and loves to eat our cultural Japanese food. Now, I know most of the Japanese food we eat here in the U.S. are not close to what we eat in Japan so I will not argue/try to explain the authenticity or originality of our food. Having said all of that, I was very pleased with this restaurant.
Pros 1.Quality. The food quality was excellent. Much better than most of the 'All-you-can-eat Sushi' places in the LA areas. The rolls' proportion of 'inside' and rice are perfect, they use just the right amount of rice on sushi, and they use good quality wasabi (wasabi is very important if you know what I am talking about!). Plus, their food is not that salty or spicy. Most all-you-can-eat sushi places use this tactic to make people full or make them drink lots of water or soda to falsely keep them full. They are not shady like that! 2.Cleanliness. This place is very clean. 3.Price. I am not familiar with the cost of Sacramento's average dining. However, this place is reasonable compared to LA all-you-can-eat sushi places. 4.Customer care. Most all-you-can-eat places have a notorious horrible reputation for customer care. The long waiting time (which is understandable) and the food will be delivered at least 15 minutes later upon the order. However, their delivery time upon the order was excellent.
Cons Can't really think of anything. There is plenty of parking (I am from LA so parking is very very important).
Now, I was a bit surprised to see some negative reviews about this place and I believe they had some incidents about oyster food poising. I believe that incident happened before my visit because they did not have oysters. I did not have any issues or food poising symptoms after my visit. It is so unfortunate for those people who had to experience food poison because it is brutal. I sincerely hope no one experiences it ever again and that the restaurant owners/managers pay close attention to food quality and safety.
Overall, I highly recommend this place. I never thought I will have a good experience in Sacramento via an 'all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant' lol....
